No difference from using Tapatalk, IMO, though their notification system has been buggy of late for me.

Tapatalk has been broken for various forums going on 6 months now, so having Safari push notifications would be useful.

Unfortunately despite lots of articles reporting on Safari web push notifications in iOS 16.4, that’s not what was added. iOS 16.4 added web push notifications for Home Screen web apps. If a web site isn’t a web app or not added to the Home Screen push notifications won’t work.

Oh, yippie, more emojis!

I cringe that emojis seem to always be the first thing listed on IOS updates. Like that's the most important thing??
The thing is, they're based on an evolving standard. When new emojis are approved by the Unicode Consortium, every platform developer must comply and add them. Otherwise you'll only see squares if someone send you a new emoji.
It's not the most important feature, not at all. But they have to add them.

Apparently, Apple has forgotten how to align content on the screen properly:

No HomeKit fixes?

tvOS 16.4 fixed my HomeKit issues, so something was done.

Otherwise apparently, home automation is just an ongoing experiment in the basement at Apple headquarters, while the Emoji team gets the top floor.

Ohh Wow, twenty-one new emojis! Now, that's important! How about fixing the things that are broken, resolving bugs, and making the whole user interface less complicated? One thing really bugs me is the message indicator showing there is a message waiting but there are no messages. Necessitates having to power off the device to finally get rid of it.

We all know apple can’t multitask because the same person can’t add emoji and fix bugs at the same time. /s

Updated, and now Siri doesn’t work. Keeps saying there is a connection issue. Worked just fine before updating. This is NOT okay Apple 🤬 makes it dangerous, because now I can’t use Siri in the car, but have to use the Carplay interface, which takes my focus off the road.

And still no way to disable split screen view? A feature they actually removed a few iOS's ago?

Apple. All about accessibility unless you are a senior who can't control furtive movements of your hands.

You may want to try restarting sometimes things do restart correctly after an upgrade and need one more restart to clear up. Worth a try anyway. I don’t see anything to indicate that this is a widespread problem so probably just a transient local issue.

What did you mean when you wrote "making the whole user interface less complicated"? Are you struggling with it? I'm not.

Snappier?

In all seriousness I hope it helps battery drain on the iPhone 14 Pro! I’m so disappointed with this phone, it’s 6pm in the evening and I’m at 37%. My iPhone 11 Pro that I updated from still lasted all day. I’m actually sickened by this garbage.
I end most days at about 60-70% battery left with about 4 hours of screen usage and probably 2-3 hours of podcast listening on overcast. I feel like my 14 pro battery life is insanely good! What kind of numbers are you expecting?! I’m also on Wi-Fi most of the day and my brightness is probably less than 50% most of the time. So I know that helps. But seriously this phone is a tank! I could easily get 2 days of my full usage out of it!

kinda weird. Since updating I have network/reception problems when I'm on a call and want simultaneously do things on the web. Even GPS is losing a signal...

Those idiots broke iCloud clipboard now.
Unbelievable, there is not a single update that doesn’t break something.
I am so fed up with this rubbish

I'm losing GPS as well. Apple QC team is a complete joke!

AOD when taking out from pocket is still broken. Display sometimes stays off after taking out from pocket, even though AOD option is turned on.

Also, I get AOD turn off after locking the phone. Happens quite often

I’m having similar issues as well. Although mine are related to being on a call and using Wi-Fi to browse at the same time.

Also, iCloud private relay seems to be rather finicky now, constantly notifying me that there is a connection issue with Apple’s servers.

Edit: Meant to quote post #191.

Not broken for me. Probably not for a lot of people. Perhaps you should try another reboot to make sure things are cleared out? This sounds like one of those transient issuers that can affect some installations.

After googling I found that turning the Bluetooth off and on gets it back up and running, but it fails again a while after.

It’s also a fresh install, by the way. And I have basically no apps installed except for Microsoft office and VLC.

Universal clipboard is broken for me also. Can't seem to get it working at all. This is so gd frustrating. It is always something after these updates.
