At this rate I will be updating my phone more than Im charging it.
Pretty sure these releases today are mostly due to security and what bugs they have fixed already.Having all these hot fixes straight after the official release. Points to deficiencies in there beta testing program I feel?
Wait until they introduce forced updates like xbox. Don't wanna update? Stay offline. At this rate I will be updating my phone more than Im charging it.![]()
I don't understand this response. Do you mean that this is too many updates in the first fortnight?I know...Less than two weeks in, and already two updates for 17 have been released.
So you’d rather the android approach where they have issues for months and eventually get updates months later.I know...Less than two weeks in, and already two updates for 17 have been released.
Another one?
Do you think we will also get that this week after just getting Ios 17.0.2 this week?I would actually like to see an iOS 17.0.3 pushed to all devices in the very near future, it’s clear there are still bugs to be worked out. And after the next week or so I will be traveling so I really won’t have an opportunity to update again.
Does not show up on 15
I genuinely don’t know but with this many bugs to patch out in iOS 17 and especially on the new iPhones, it’s not impossible they could push something out within the week. And I hope they doDo you think we will also get that this week after just getting Ios 17.0.2 this week?
Well they've been told about it since the release of the first beta candidate weeks and weeks and weeks ago there's also a problem with the heart rate complication updating as well sometimes it doesn't update for hours I've told them about that for weeks as well and yet they still pushed out the final release without fixing the bug and I had a rant at them about it in the feedback app, I mean they said that they've got a potential fix identified for the complications not updating so if they've got a fix identified by the hell didn't they push it out as a test before they release the final version especially with the fact that they got a watch it just come out that cost hundreds of pounds and they aren't even willing to test out potential fixes before they push the final release candidates this tells you everything you need to know about this company and it's management they're not interested in the Customer Service aspect they're not interested in making sure that the user experience is good the only thing they're interested in is taking your money. When will they fix the Apple Watch weather app issue?
Well people need to realise is Apple don't really do internal testing they do is it good enough to get money for it testing that is the problem there's loads of bug fixes that they know about but they don't push them out they just basically wait around for weeks and weeks and weeks until enough people complain about it and then they'll push the bug fix out they've got basically lazy software developers who are more interested in pushing out snoopy faces and they aren't actually releasing potential bug fixes for serious issues Apple deserves to be smacked over the head with this release, I hope the sales of these devices tank and that people finally wake up to the fact that this is a company that doesn't have their best interest at heart, Apple changes its leadership and corporate panel they never gonna change their way of doing things, this is a company that constantly rewarded for failure.Yep, Apple internal testing with the iPhone 15 should have caught it without needing beta testing outside of Apple.
Not really. The iPhone 15 series was not part of the larger beta test program, so now you have new bugs being fixed that may or may not impact older devices.Having all these hot fixes straight after the official release. Points to deficiencies in there beta testing program I feel?
Yikes, which one is that?Anyone getting the iMessage notification bug?
When you get a notification, press on it and the message disappears. Only way to get it back is to force close the appYikes, which one is that?
No, it just feels like a lot more than usual.Okay then.
