Apple Releases iOS 17.3.1 With Fix for Text Bug

I also have the same issue with dual sim texts defaulting to the primary number. I went through settings, toggled iMessage off and on to see if that would help but nothing. Thought I changed something by mistake so for now I just switch off the primary line before sending a message via secondary. At least it is very infrequent that I have to send a message via secondary so it is just a minor inconvenience for now.

I wish it was a minor inconvenience for me, I have accidently given many business partners and vendors my personal cell which I did not want to do. Being in IT, people hold on to it forever or save it and I now show up as someone to add on social media apps. At least I can use the undo send feature of iMessage when that occurs.

I'm going to remove my 2nd esim line from my phone and re-add but need to contact T-Mobile to do that since there's a QR code involved.

Anyone on Ventura 13.6.4 able to update? I get an unable to update error 4013 again, the same I got before updating to Ventura 13.6.4 from 13.6.3 where I was unable to update the iPhone.

Where is Ventura 13.6.4.1?

Edit: This turned out to be a VPN during update while the iPhone was connected via a cable to the Mac Ventura.

I never saw overlapping text with typing but I don’t use any social media apps except telegram.
I did see overlapping text in emails.

It’s nice that they’re getting these small bugs worked out before they release 17.4.0, that’s gonna be a hot mess because they’re rushing to get it done for the EU, I’ll hold off until it’s another Dot one update.

I had no idea this was a bug - I just thought I got worse at typing on a phone. Great news!

I was literally the same way. The first day I noticed the problem it was an especially cold day during a bad snow storm and I was wondering “Why am I so bad at this? Are my fingers too cold for typing? What the heck is happening!?” 😂

My problem? Apple does not allow downgrading several months/years after a certain iOS release...

I don't wish to have Apple re-sign every old release, I just want the latest release of every old iOS since iOS 6 to be re-signed for iTunes/Finder restore...

Is the keyboard still laggy?

It was laggy especially in low power mode.
Way better since iOS 17.2 and 17.3
Speaking about the 15 Pro, not sure about other devices.
17.4 should bring further improvements.

I got Sanoma 14.3 + Safari 17.3 on my Macbook Pro and I have multiple text overlap or wrong text in the edit box on MacRumors. Sometimes whole blocks of text reappear or get replaced with other text. A few pushes on backspace can restore it, but its quite annoying.

Problem was with 17.3 my alarm wouldn’t sound for work so I went to 17.4 beta and my alarm works maybe it would of fixed it on 17.3.1 but I needed a working alarm it never went off in 17.3 would reach the time set and just disappear from the Lock Screen.
