You can turn it to US English. Just a few improperly spelt US words is all you’ll have to deal with really.

Well, if they let us use it at all outside of the US that is…

I’m in Canada and joined the wait list but it does say it may check your serial for eligibility.

The "Clean Up" tool in Photos editing currently sucks. 👎

It is lousy at removing text. When I use it on text the text is usually not removed. To remove text I use the clone tool in Retouch. Apple "clean up" needs a clone tool. 👎

Removing unwanted items is currently hit & miss for me.

Why does "Clean Up" have to be in the "Preparing Clean Up" mode when I choose it? Why doesn't it automatically start/load when Photos is opened? 👎

You really need to be connected to Wi-Fi to use the Clean Up feature in photos? 😒🤭

That's just to download/install the feature. You can use it offline after that.

I updated, I have a 15 Pro Max, but there are zero Apple AI features. I see there is a place to "Join Waitlist" in the settings. Are these features not enabled unless you request to join?

You have to request them not automatic

I've basically lost all enthusiasm for this Apple Intelligence update. The most interesting features still aren't ready and the ones we are getting today are basically region locked to one country. Even the AirPods Pro 2 stuff isn't available here. If Apple are going to announce new features to the whole world, they should make sure it's going to be available for the whole world.

Phone still hot after one hour
Camera auto focus bezels (those yellow ones when focusing) are not centered
AI is not there out of the box

It'll take a day or so for iOS 18.1 to "reindex" your phone. I used to see the same thing on an Android phone when anytime you get a major version update.
