It’s sometimes strange to read comments like this in a forum for Apple enthusiasts.
It’s a general behavior to not list all security changes when they’re not publicly known so for due to security reasons and give users time to update. They will most likely release the changelog for this update in a couple of days.
And there is usually distinction between "bug fixes" and "security patches." Everyone knows Apple posts the CVE disclosures some time after the updates (sometimes with more to follow days later), but these are never specified directly in the release notes. I don't recall Apple ever withholding non-security release notes, something that would at least be out of the ordinary. If non-security-related bugs were fixed, as would be implied by the MR quote, then they should be disclosed in the release notes as they normally are. That's what I was complaining about.

iOS 18.2 removed RCS support on my iPhone 14 Pro Max running on T-Mobile. iOS 18.2.1 didn’t fix it so far. Anyone having the same issue? Any fixes? Thanks.
I would reset network settings as this would force the iPhone to download the carrier bundle and hopefully this would fix it! .

Ps. you will lose all of your saved wifi networks as well as the iPhone name

Hope this fixes the weird dimming videos issue I’ve been having since 18.1 on my 14. For some reason the video either goes black or fades to grey after bright images like a space battle scene. It’s annoying AF.

Yes there is. When an iOS update only brings forward security fixes then there’s no mention of “bug fixes” in the release notes.

Has anyone noticed the bug where you put an app in a folder and the app icon vanishes, but then when you exit wiggle mode the app icon is visible and functional exactly where you left it?

Not everyone will update, but if Apple listed the bugs, fixed with the latest OS, then the bad guys would know about the vulnerabilities of those not updating. That would force me to update.

Will update my iPhone soon. Hopefully it fixes the bug where screenshots taken on Apple Watch are not syncing properly to the Photos app on the iPhone.

Uninstall social media apps. Instant 2X battery. Worked on my 15 Pro.
Using Safari or Brave seems to drain my 15 Pro's battery almost as fast as the Bluesky app. When the phone is idle it's not too bad.
