Do you switch it on?
Of course, or I wouldn't get 36 hours would I?

Looks like Apple Screwed us Iphone 4 CDMA users once again...
Nope. You we're screwed when you picked Verizon. How's that map treating you?![]()
I just downloaded the update, it told me something failed and I need to restore my iPhone. I am on try 3 and it is still failing every time it tries to restore. It's giving me error code 1013. I would stay away from this update for at least a day or two until others give feedback. It doesn't seem to be that critical of an update anyways.
It's not bricked. You've been using TinyUmbrella, so it didn't allow the baseband to get updated. Fix your hosts file and it will be fine.
This is almost the exact post I wrote yesterday on the last 4.3 update thread. It is driving ne nuts. And I'm sure I was able to distinguish between texts and emails before. I'm filing it under bug too.

I'm guessing iOS5 (most likely in June) will put them in sync for releases.I have no doubt's that this will be resolved in time. In the mean time, I don't have any of the problems that the new IOS 4.3.1 fixes on my Verizon iPhone.![]()
Ouch.
I get 36 hours on my Droid X without any issues...
Yes, it does.
For whom doesn't understand what we are talkin' about: There is a way to enable 4~5 fingers gesture function which is allowed only for developers. Purchase Xcode($4.99) from Mac App Store, install it, connect the iPad to the USB port and Xcode will recognize your iPad and there is a button asks you to use this iPad for development purpose. Click it and it will ask your developer ID but you can simply click cancel, it will anyway continue the procedure to enable the function. After that, go to the preference - general on you iPad, you will get to see the option for the 4~5 fingers gesture. I personally think, it is worth more than $5.
You guys do realize that your 3G is realistically 4 years old, right? It used the same processor, screen, graphics and RAM as the very first iPhone. They just added the 3G/aGPS chip to make it a 3G device. Four years is an eternity in cell phones.

And this is why I thank God each and every day I'm not afflicted with asperger's or some other personality disorder.
fancy finding /b/tards on a mac forum
Uh oh, now you're going to unleash the fury of the autism brigade. Asperger's isn't a personality disorder!
Asperger syndrome or Asperger's syndrome or Asperger disorder ( /ˈɑspɚɡɚz/[1]) is an autism spectrum disorder that is characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction, along with restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests

Dude, you must be like on Comcast-Crack Plan LOL
No, it certainly isn't. It's proof that we're evolving (albeit, slowly).
