Apple Releases iOS 5 Beta 2 to Developers

The newsstand icon just annoys me, I really hope they give us an option to atleast hide it

To answer my own question and anyone elses who gets this error right after the "Waiting for changes to reconcile" screen you need to delete your "iPod photo cache"

Here's a guide although my ipod photo cache wasn't in the iPhoto package contents.
 
i had my iphone 4 udid registered today and when i upgraded to 5.0 beta 2 it said my udid was not registered and i looked at it today and it shows it is and should be ready to go,did anyone have a problem today?

there was a problem with the activation server last night, maybe it's still screwy. or your udid didn't register at all

The servers are still down as we speak, or they were an hour or so ago.

That's some 30 odd hours they've been offline. Prepping for Beta 3 this week, or perhaps trying to cut down on the insane amount of UDID registrations for people wanting to try the Beta for themselves and paying for a spot?

could be prepping for beta 3 OTA, don't think the servers went down for beta 2
 
FT not disabled

I just updated to Beta 2 and my Facetime still works fine. I thought it was supposed to be disabled?.

Scratch that, it doesn't work.

thank you for figuring this out! i've been plagued with that for the past few days!

*edit* i lied, it worked once and then the same error again, however, a restart of itunes works...just sucks that i have to restart itunes every day!

I was just wondering if anyone who's familiar with iOS5b2 could verify if iWork document sync via iCloud has been enabled yet.

Did you restart iTunes after deleting the file? I know you need to restart it once you do delete it, so it notices that the file is gone and makes a new one. Hopefully that was the only time you have to do that as I haven't had any more problems.
 
Wifi Sync Icon

I love the way the guy in the video made note that if you had the jailbreak version of Wifi sync you would recognize the spinning log when it was working. The irony is that is the same spinning log Apple has used for syncing on the Mac for long before there was an Iphone to jailbreak. Try mobile me or .mac before that.
 
im hoping for b3 this week. had to downgrade to 4.3.3 from the constant bugs. but hey, its a beta so its understandable.
