Will this work??

My developer account expired before I could update to the GM, so I'm stuck on Beta 3 or 4 - if I restore the iPhone via Settings > General > Restore all content - then restore from an iCloud backup - would I then be able to update over the air......??? or will it restore me back to the beta I was on?

Thanks!

Still nothing in Denver.

Some hardass on the server is probably like "nahhh man apple said 11 mst and it's GOING TO BE 11 MST"

iTunes detected a new update, then when I pressed download nothing happened, and now it's back to saying 5.1.1 is the most current version. Sad times :(

Yay downloading...

it's really weird though, only iTunes says there is a new version. OTA not working yet

Bah! Just hit update and nothing happened! - I'm in the UK (name is a clue tbh!)

Hits update button furiously! :D

C'mon Florida...I feel like they start in the west coast and it sweeps across the nation...

Omaha, NE - still don't see the update yet. Says 5.1.1 is latest version. Checked via iTunes and directly on iPad. Will restart iPad and see if it works or try again after lunch.

Started downloading at 50 minutes past the hour - Chicago.

Both iPhone 4 and "new" iPad getting the OTA treatment.

Does anyone know how Apple doles out the iOS updates? I seem to be at the tail end of getting them rolled out to me, is it by region, last name, etc? I'm in New Haven, and nothing, yet.

It's probably just whenever Akamai's caching network replicates to the servers you hit.

As soon as they release the update, it begins to propagate throughout networks. It takes some time before being generally available everywhere.
