Seems more stable already.

7.0 was rock solid for me.

Then the update messed it all up bizarrely.

7.0.3 should improve things.

I don't call the accelerometer fixed. My 5S is off by 1 on two sides and off by 2 on the other. The only thing that's zero is lying flat on it's back and even that fluctuates been 0 and 1.

Had something similar, I reset settings and it's working now.

Although I suspect my case is causing an issue when it's lying flat as it can be a degree off.

Keychain doesn't seem to work in apps, Youtube for example. On my Mac I let keychain suggest a password for me to use on Youtube it logs me in fine on Safari but trying to log into the Youtube app it doesn't remember my password.

It appears that keychain is only for websites. Hence the integration with safari.

My iPhone 4S got stuck on a black screen with the Apple logo and a progress bar...

Edit:

Got it fixed by pressing the power+home buttons together and restarting the phone. Do they test these stuff before they release them?

Bring back airplay in the music app!

Who's bright idea was it to remove the AirPlay icon from the Music App? The reason I've used only Macs since the early 90s was because of the product and software designs that were new, innovative and most of all user friendly. AirPlay is just one example. I've introduced this awesome feature to my family and friends and we use this nearly every single day. And now ios7 removes it from the Music App???? Really? Make it more difficult to play the music we bought from you? Now we must pull back out to the control center and select AirPlay. Then again when switching AirPlay stereos. This is NOT and improvement with ios7!

Don't get me started on the worthless cover flow replacement, small cover art and ugly white background...

Don't get me started with the worthlessness of cover flow itself.

Also, think your iPad 3 turns usable after 7.0.3? Think again. Still a lag-fest.

Siri

I was getting tons of instances on my iP5 where Siri would just say "I'm really sorry, but I can't take any requests right now."; probably 50 percent of the time (even with excellent connections to LTE and Wifi).

With 7.0.3 this seems to be fixed. Going on almost a day with the update and it hasn't failed once yet and it seems much faster at responding too.

Arrgh! I liked "Reduce Motion" the way it was before. Don't mind the zoom animations but the parallax drives me crazy!!

It's just weird without the folder zoom.

lol, can never please people.

They fix the zoom animations and now we have people complaining that parallax and animations are not separate toggles.

no matter what people will find something to complain about.

Nice update although I wish they would have split out reduce motion into separate prefs for parallax and zoom. On my iPad 2 the parallax is a little funky (performance issues?) so I turned it off but I miss the zoom out of apps. I can see why people wanted the option to turn off zoom but for me the previous setting was better.

TouchID wasn't a slouch before, but now it's BLAZING fast.

Also, am I the only one who just flat out never notices parallax? I feel like, with all these moaners, that they have something totally different than me. Even when I stare at the background and move the device to force it, it's incredibly subtle.

Do different backgrounds show the effect differently? I use the stock background with the stars.

Nothing here in UK...

it takes a bit of time for it to swim across the pond

----------

Uptade not showing up for iPad 4th gen in Spain.

shows up on my 4th gen ipad in US

----------

WHY MUST I NEED WIFI.... I have unlimited data.... let me do what I want apple.

you're free to do as we say!

----------

Maybe US will get first because they dont want their servers to be rushed. Especially mavericks also is released

US is the beta-testing ground..

Probably because the main issue for various people wasn't parallax but the more pronounced movement in animations.

So I'm reading a bunch of posts on here that people updating from 7.0.2 to 7.0.3 on their iphones, they are doing a "reset setting" on the phone?
Can someone explain what this is? What will I loose on the phone if I do this after update? I only reset network settings after update.

lol I almost feel like keychain for iCloud/Apple IDs is more important than a new iPad Retina:p. It's soooooo nice not to have to enter in my friggin ID every time I open the store or whatever. Thanks for the circa 1999 option.

prior to updates, this path seems to give me the best possible upgrade path without losing settings or inheriting odd wifi issues. I used to just accept the updates on iOS 6 but before going to 6.1.3 I adopted this process to improve my success upgrade path.

on *any* iOS device, I now perform these steps

Close all apps that are in memory (double tap home button) close all apps.

Settings > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Settings > Reset > Reset All Settings

Join the wifi network again; at work I have a wifi profile, if you don't have one get one so it makes re-joining your network super easy.

Now you can perform *ANY* iOS update and I have not had any issues on any of my devices:
iPhone3GS, iPhone4, iPhone4S, iPhone5S, iPad2, iPad3, iPadmini

and here is the best benefit that I have noticed, you don't seem to get presented with the odd keyboard slowness/stickiness issue that seems to plague iPhone4, iPad2, iPad3 devices.

What does it reset?
all sounds on your device
(mail, notifications, iMessages)
all alarms
any wifi networks you may have been joined to.

Thanks . since i already updated to 7.0.3 then by your process, its too late to reset settings, so I guess I wont do that.

There's really no reason to reset settings if you aren't having a problem. If the new iOS needs a new setting it will add a default value. If an old setting isn't used any more it's ignored. The only time you could run into a problem is if a settings usage changed and the old value isn't valid, but iOS should detect and correct that (barring bugs).

Preemptively clearing all settings prior to an update won't really do anything and if everything works after the update, there's no need to clear settings.

Fixed the syncing problem I was having with my iPad III after upgrading to Mavericks.

The syncing of my iPad with the updated iTunes after installing Mavericks kept hanging up on the last step forcing me to quite iTunes. I was about to reset my iPad to see if that would help and got this update just before doing it which solved the problem. Thought I would pass that along to anyone haven't iTunes syncing issues after Mavericks.
