In iOS 6, if I saw a release with just "bug fixes", I wouldn't care. In iOS 7, the occasion calls for a fiesta!

Just wait. In two days time, once news of this update spreads, Chinese folk everywhere will gather to celebrate the beginning of a new era. I predict that it will be known as the year of the Horse, to celebrate Eddy Cue's love of Ferrari.

Oops. I was going to jailbreak my iP5 in hopes of there being a tweak to make the phone work like iOS6. But then age I can just leave it on 6.

Does it fix anything other than the network provisioning in china? And what has it done to the iphone in terms of network over there? I know in China there are networks that iPhones sold in Europe can't currently run on. Will this update enable it, in case I can use it when traveling?

They could have at least fixed the safari crashing bug!!!

They could have at least fixed the safari crashing bug!!!

I bought my iPhone 5S in France (and I am currently based there) and the update appeared on mine... so obviously not only for China-based users!

If that is the case, I wish MacRumors wouldn't even publish this...

Yes, because evidently only introspective Americans visit MacRumors.com

No, and again, a complete non story from MR. Bravo.

You wouldn't be saying that if you were an iPhone owner from/living in China and this update fixd a bug that was annoying you.

Why's it a non-story just because it's not focused on the USA? Earth is a big place. Try to get out more!
