That's not what were talking about though. Your listening to a song. You think I like this I'd enjoy it in my play list. Hit the add to play list button. Oh there isn't one. Dum move.

Ah, but it is possible to add songs to a playlist. :)
A shortcut would definitely make sense.

That poster was asking if anything has changed in the music player.

The release blurb says they made some changes related to iRadio. Some other posters noted better connection.

They didn't update the green in Numbers...having it next to the FaceTime icon makes the contrast VERY annoying. Also the new shift button color scheme is idiotic, it's not intuitive at all.

Seriously? This is what people worry about?

Is it just me, or is notification center font size bigger? I know you can adjust text size int Settings->General->Text Size but I swear the notification center and lock screen ignore this setting. Probably nothing new but really does seem NC is larger than before.

I think the audio title is bigger than before. Also, if there's nothing playing it says "Music," whereas before it was blank.

Soon most things from iOS 6 (and before) will be back as "new" and "better" features in new updates. ;)

That monthly view + task list in iOS6 is useful. A few friends missed it too.

The larger viewable space, integration with Maps, iMessages in iOS7 are better though.

They should definitely combine the bests of both worlds, and remove whatever stuff that proved useless.

Love the update, 5s and rMini are much faster now that the animations have been sped up.

The timer bug is still there though. Set the timer for anything, lock the iPhone/iPad and check the homescreen, it still reads as 00:00.

This worked perfectly on the original iOS 7 and then was broken on later updates, shame it still isn't fixed. This issue broke the same time on my 5s and rMini.

UK with a 12 hour clock.

I've definitely experienced 1 and 3 above in ios7. Number one would happen to me, perhaps, a couple of times per hour. I too hope this fixes it. Please report your findings, as will I.

Pete

Re BT connection issue. You might try turning off WiFi when in the car. When I first got BT speakers I noticed a lot of a dropouts when the WiFi signal was weak.

Not sure how people think the shift key is unintuitive. You should've seen beta 3-4, those shift keys all looked the same. 7.1 shift key is perfect, very intuitive.

Only improvement I'd love for iOS is getting real podcast support through the audio player back, so you don't have to use that terrible "Podcasts" app.

Just buy a podcast app like Downcast (my preference) or Instacast. They're a million times better and feature rich than podcast support ever was or ever will be going the default route. I jumped ship to 3rd part when Apple ruined podcasts in iOS5 (the skeuomorphic monstrosity). They did me a favour, the 3rd party options are soooo much better in every way.

did somebody notice following on the iphone 5s:

when you press the sleep/home-button to activate the screen there is at first no "slide to unlock". it appears then after 3-5 seconds :)

That has been this way for a while...One of the first iOS 7 updates. It's because it's waiting for you to scan your print, and not slide to enter ur password.

My iPhone 4S is finally usable again. The last few months with iOS 7.0 has been a terrible Apple experience.

And I still find it sad that I need to turn on "Accessibility" options in order to make the UI look normal. Apple is too damn proud to admit their mistakes. No one wants neon-green during a call, no human can read the text, it's not accessibility feature it's a human feature!

I think the update re-enables emergency alerts, if they were previously off. Updated my phone a bit ago, then just now the thing went off with the most god-awful, loudest alarm ever. It made me jump out of my chair! It was an AMBER alert. I don't remember ever hearing anything like that before.
That's weird, my Amber alerts were off before and they were still turned off after upgrading to 7.1.

On another note, I am so happy they fixed the blasted calendar! It's usable again.

what about auto enabling HDR for iPhone 5?! Most annoying change they've ever made in 7.0.4 when HDR automatically times out and turns off.

well my songs have made a reappearance in the music app. so thats good.

Just had a face time call. Small picture icon and loads of wasted space. I can see sleepy me answering or dismissing the wrong calls and if not being forced to wake up more than I want to so I can see the picture and read the name. Not impressed.

Now if they bring back the ability to navigate through albums of an artist, instead of a long list of tunes for an artist, that would be fantastic. One of the most annoying iOS 7 features ever, in addition to the severe lack of performance.

If it bothers you can't you just move one of the icons? Besides, as someone else already said, Numbers is not part of the operating system. It would need an app update to change color.

Found a glitch where the background of the text box is black when you search in maps

Probably need to wait for iOS 7.2 (or perhaps iOS 8). ;)

disagree. when looking at it in the shift or unshifted modes, I can't tell which is which until typing -- the key with its background gray, like the backspace key, or the key with its background white like the letter keys? no way of knowing which.

is iOS 6 it turned blue, which was unlike the other keys on the board and very easy to do discern its unique state.

Your right, but if you press in the black area it comes back white to type in. Weird but I kinda like the black. :D

I can see people saying where do I enter the address?
