Hmmm... my phone wants to go to 8.0.1. It finished downloading yesterday but I never clicked "Install". Hopefully it'll just find 8.0.2 and skip 8.0.1. I would use iTunes - except the servers are not responding.

Does anyone have a direct link to the firmware?

Yeah, that is all on Apple though. Very rarely does the patching process fail. But to send it out without testing it was inexcusable.

You can't claim that it wasn't tested. Whether it was tested _thoroughly enough_ is where the doubt was. Not everyone with a 6 or 6+ experienced problems.
