I've given up on that...the only thing that'll fix it is the 6S Plus.

I'll settle for third-party keyboards actually being fixed this time. It's in the notes, but we'll see...
Yes, the iPad Air 2 has 2 GB of RAM and it does a much better job at multitasking.

I've noticed this in few instances. What issues are you having?
Basically: anytime I switch between apps, the app has got to reload and my progress is lost (unless the app saved it and loads it when starting up). It's not immediate (e.g. if you switch between two apps within a few seconds, all is okay - but use one of the two apps for five minutes and then switch back... well, have fun reloading).

I've noticed that dictation goes away quicker than it should, especially in FB messenger. I knew for fact that was a RAM issue, but I will start paying attention to these other issues. Thanks for taking the time to give the details.

Cheers!
I don't use dictation that often, but the lack of RAM, for me, is most noticable when I am multitasking.

I've installed on my 6+ and my first impression is it makes opening apps, settings, etc. slightly quicker with every task.
iOS 8.3 definitely improves things somewhat. Apps still reload a bit too much for my liking, but it's not as bad as iOS 8.2 and earlier.

This sounds like a low memory condition to me. iOS will shut down apps behind the scenes if memory runs low. I'm not at all saying you're doing anything wrong, but I'll bet that's what's happening.
Yes, you are correct. That's exactly what is happening.

Has anyone noticed an improvement? I have a feeling that the RAM issues will only be solved when the 6s gets one more gig of RAM to 2GB total.
This problem will only be solved when there's 2 GB of RAM, indeed. That said, iOS 8.3 is definitely an improvement for me. App reloading still happens, but it happens less often than before. Also, over-all, iOS 8.3 seems to be the most stable iOS 8 version there is.

Isn't this issue occurring on basically every iOS devices for the last few years? I don't remember the iPhone 4 having this issue at release but the one I keep around as an iPod / Apple TV remote reloads apps almost everytime I switch between apps, same as my iPhone 5s.

iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 were fine for me - you could make it happen if you wanted to, but you could multitask just fine. iPhone 5S already reloads app a bit more often due to the 64-bit architecture. iPhone 6 does it even more and especially the 6 Plus does it a lot due to the higher resolution displays.

-----------

If you guys haven't updated to iOS 8.3 yet, I would recommend doing so. There's a definitive improvement and it appears as if there is more RAM available to the apps (e.g. less RAM used by iOS itself). Still, not as good as the iPhone 5 - but iOS 8.3 is quite an improvement over iOS 8.2 on an iPhone 6 Plus.

My problems with this update

My computer would not update my mail nor allow me to search on Safari after downloading the OS. I restarted, and then the white spinning wheel went on for 15 minutes on a black screen.

This is on a 6 month old mac mini with not much on it. Now those finally function but a couple of songs I bought from an entire album on my ipad last night refuse to download on the mac mini. The imatch did nothing to improve it.

Finally, my thumb nail photos look very grainy compared to the previous OS.
Even when I expand them to full screen size they look grainy poorer quality than before.

Sorry if this has been posted in this thread, I'm having trouble accessing some of the pages with my intermittent internet connectivity. (Thanks Comcast)

The video states that a new Screenshots folder is in the Photos app. I do not see a Screenshots folder. How do I enable that feature?
