Apple Releases iOS 8.4 With Apple Music, Beats 1, and Revamped Music App

It was so annoying every time I took my iPhone up my pocket.

I can't imagine using my iPhone without Portrait Lock on...

strange, i was able to add spring king's song to my music and fave it, then Beck's "Dream" came on and those options were greyed out and missing. Now Jamie xx "Gosh" is on and those options are available again?

Never heard Zane before... already a fan. Cool introduction, and a great transitions into the other songs. Letting the music speak for itself. The station identifications can cool it a bit, though I'm sure they will. Reminds me of the 'old' "Sirius Satellite Radio" IDs they used to have on those channels.

I found a crucial problem on Apple Music.

I realised when I press "Add to a Playlist" of a song I like on Apple Music and select an existing playlist I want to add to, it doesn't actually work.

To make it work, I have to "Make Available Offline" and then choose "Add to a Playlist".

This is kind of a problem because what happens if I don't want to make it available offline but want to stream a song from a playlist of mine. (Also that extra step and storage usage).

Click on "artists" in your library

For those not on Apple Music, you will see "Show iTunes Purchases" to turn on.

Anyone successfully transfer a beats music family plan to an apple music family plan? It ended up putting me on an individual plan somehow. Now it has cancelled my wifes beats music account and says if I switch my apple music to a family plan it seems like I will lose my free trial. Strange.

I switched from individual to family. It's confusing, but you still have the trial.

The suggestions they are giving are quite astute. It's funny how I said just earlier today that I would like to listen to albums by Paul McCartney and the Wings (not something I like enough to buy), and it's actually suggesting a McCartney album even though I didn't select any artists even close to the Beatles or McCartney.

Yep. I like everything about this so far, and to set the stage with Brian Eno's Music for Airports? Perfect. But yeah, the radio ads are already getting colossally obnoxious.
