yep, and songs stored locally have a small device icon in the upper right corner of there label.

you may need to disable iCloud music library on your phone once you go thru the matching process to get everything to populate faster on your phone.

You do understand that this is a different service than apple music though?
Also - where is the icon you speak of for locally saved files? Unsure what the best way to download a bunch of songs is...create a playlist?

Any idea where the customized radio stations went? In the "radio" tab I see one or two under "Recently played" (and the names I had given them are gone, replaced by the name of the first artist used to create the station), but the ones I have not played in a little while are nowhere to be seen. Even scrolling down, all I see are the precanned ones. So even if I create a new station from a song in Apple Music, where will that appear? This interface is totally confusing/overwhelming. I'm all for change, but there should be some sort of tutorial somewhere!!

I updated thru iTunes 12.1.. and have no issues on my existing music. I did not select to accept Apple Music and other than a new layout, all songs, playlists are there.
yeah, i did an over the air update. tried restarting. nothing. no music. the music app just has a "going off the grid?" message with the option to Show All Music but that just shows me music i have purchased from iTunes.

Spotify is not done. It is home to most of my friends, we share playlists, it works with my Sonos system today, it's the same price as Apple Music. It has Spotify Running (which is excellent). Don't be so melodramatic - Spotify can co-exist with whatever Apple and Google can throw at it.

Unless they increase their paying subscribers they are done. Currently, if I remember correctly, various outlets report that they are operating at a loss... losing money each quarter due to royalty payments.

I though I wouldn't try it but I'm trying and it looks really really nice. My iphone 6's battery won't last a lot...

Ok. I can confirm if you have Apple Music ON but turn OFF iCloud Music Library - your device will lose any music that you have via Match (not bought through iTunes). In other words, Apple Music does not do everything Match (now iCloud Music Library?) does.

For everyone who lost their music. Make sure you have "make music available offline" selected

Click on "artists" in your library
i don't have that option. the only toggle below the Artists, Albums, Songs list is to Show iTunes Purchases.

Not really. If you wanted to listen to Beats 1, you would have stayed on iOS 8.

Apple are working on iOS 9 and don't care about people who want Apple Music on their devices. You'll have to wait another week. Shame really. You're missing out.
I had watchos2 which requires iOS 9, but I downgraded to 8.4 to try beats music. My watch will only be able to tell time for the next week, haha.

Can anybody help please as I have downloaded iOS 8.4 but I can't find all my songs in my library on my iPhone thanks.

Does Apple Music also work through desktop iTunes? Because I listen to music all day on Spotify while I'm working. If this doesn't work through the desktop, I'm out!
