Not some most of the world like China India today is the 25th. The world does revolve around one country America but maybe is does for Americans because they never know what's happening outside of the own little world do they.
At the time the comment was posted it wasn't the 25th in North or South America, or Europe, or Africa, or the Middle East, so a good part of the world was still not quite there, while a good part was. Nice thoughtless attempt at a pointless jab at Americans that only demonstrates that ignorance is elsewhere.

Actually they still do. On Sept 16 they released an update (12.1.3) to Windows XP and Vista 32 bit and 64 bit to support iOS 9.
My nephew is running 32 bit vista and is now able to sync his iPhone 5C on iOS 9. My snow leopard and lion computers no longer can support iOS 9 even though they were released long after XP.

That seems crazy. My OH had a similar problem with her Polycarbonate MB when Apple stopped supporting that with new OS releases, we put Windows 7 on that until we could get her a newer MBP.

Good luck with this update, people are already reporting in the apple communities that their iPad Air/Air 2 and iPad minis now can't connect to WPA2/WPA2 enterprise wifi connections.

My wife upgraded her iPad Air to 9.0.1 and hasn't been able to connect to our home wifi ever since...my iPhone and iPad mini are on iOS 9 and connected to the home wifi just fine.

I'll stick to iOS 9 until these clowns get their act together.

After updating to 9.0.1 ( iphone 6) I'm now having an issue of not being able to activate cellular data for apps that had the option deactivated before.... Very odd...

LOL! Do you even read the posts you reply to?

Once again I found I lost 1.1GB on my phone and found apple automatically downloaded the update. Promptly deleted it again.

Not upgrading until apple practices what they preach... Tolerance. Treating all desktop operating systems the same and not favoring one over the other and discriminationing against ones they don't like.
ie: supporting Windows XP for iOS 9 vs not supporting all OSX released since 2001!

Ether fix the discriminatory policies or rescind and force a reverse on all support for all desktop OS's released prior to 2012!

BTW. I pay for bandwidth at my location. $20 per 2GB so apple keeps consuming my data plan. Are they going to pay for my overage this month? Please provide a way to turn off automatic downloads over wifi for all prior iOS systems!
