My IPad 3 has the photo roll pictures blurry and will not log on to my aol email. Safari ,however, is great and runs fast.

My iphone 6+ initially lagged, but I turned it off for 5 mins and so far no issues. Great update compared to IOS 8.

One disppointment for me is the new app switcher. Before you could briefly glance at an app without actually entering it, such as your calendar, to quickly read some information before going back into another app, now the app "cards" are overlaid, partially obscuring that info. I don't see the point. Style over substance.

Wow, iTunes Desktop Requirements are even worse now.
I downloaded iTunes 12.3 and now it's saying I need OS X version 10.8.5 or later!, I thought iOS9 would work with 10.7 or later!
Come on Apple, Windows 7 was released in 2009 and you support that! Snow leopard was released in 2009 and you don't support that!

Double clicking on the home button in the lock screen to access the Wallet application doesn't seem to work?

I'm located in Canada, does that have anything to do with it? Also I don't seem to be getting any of the new options in the notes app...

Anyone else?

I can appreciate those of you who sometimes have trouble being patient when Apple rolls everything out in the U.S. first and your country has to wait. However, you all DO realize Apple is INDEED a U.S. company and as such is pretty much expected to release their stuff here first when ever it is at all possible? If Apple was a UK or Australian based company I would fully expect them to release stuff there first and I'd probably be here in the U.S. waiting still. I'm sure there are TONS of products, stores, and services only available in other countries and not in the U.S. that we would love too, but guess what, we understand those aren't U.S. Based companies and we either wait patiently or a company here releases a comparable product. I apologize if this comes off wrong, but it seems like in the past few months everyone loves to bash the United States or don't begrudge us what is ours. I get it, people hate the U.S. I'm sure some of you are from countries that I'm not particularly fond of either, but you don't see me bashing those countries or complaining about the things they have that we don't just out of spite. So please, for the sake of trying to build peaceful relations and leaving ill feelings towards other countries aside, can we just stop hating on the U.S. or Apple for releasing their products and services here first?

I know you weren't addressing me directly, and I can't obviously speak for anyone else, but yes, I do realize, and no I don't think you come off wrong.

But just to be clear I wasn't hating on the US - any countries that stand in the way of news app deployments should re-evaluate their priorities as much as people who believe they do - and I wasn't hating on Apple either although they undoubtedly share some of the blame if there is to be any.

Delay on Siri, I understand. Product logistics, I understand. Apple Pay, iTunes Radio, Apple Music, ...etc.

Like I said, I can access these feeds through the XCode betas - if there was a legal issue, then that would be an oversight on Apple's part (which certainly could be the case.) I could be right, I could be wrong and I'll never apologize for being either.

On that basis what's left of your request that applies to my posts on the matter specifically is respectfully denied.

I downloaded iOS 9 in like 10 minutes while I as driving my car using a MiFi device like 4 hours after the iOS was released. I don't know how Apple did it. Last year I had to wait at least for 24hours to get a decent speed and no download failures messages.

So far, iOS 9 has been amazing and an improvement on everything and is much more pleasant to use. I hope some one from Apple is reading this

Update: I am using iphone 6. All those who have problems maybe you are using older devices. Planned obsolescence by Apple?

I always like to Backup first, update, then restore always...

OTA is tempting and quicker, but if trouble happens i'll know 'why' it happened

I don't think i call call iOS simple anymore...but feature wise is good.. I just have a problem with the number of stuff they add. I could say that to any software, but i guess its a trade off.

You start with a simple software, then bloat it up.

I thought IOS 9 was supposed to help older devices?? IOS has almost killed my iPad 2, by the look of the reviews so far IOS is even slower! albeit marginally. How do they make it slower every bloody year..give me back IOS 7...

Under normal circumstances i can last 4 days straight easily on standby with iOS8.4.1 constantly.. with a few unlocking here and there. even on wi-fi and 4G

Hopefully iOS 9 improves this is 16 hours is anything to go by with me. I guess that's under normal usage ?

I can only think the more features u add and visual elements, the slower it will become even though Apple says it can run it on more devices, it may not always be fast..

I guess this is also to Apple's advantage to upgrade device too.. I'm sure that's part of it.

The cost of wanting more features, enchantments visually that impact slower devices/ user will be back in the store to upgrade to faster iPhone/iPad vs user demand for more features.

I would still not upgrade, but backup & restore, while it may not help with performance in all cases, it may help a bit

Yet somehow Google has no problems supporting my country with everything they've got.
Being US based is no excuse for a company with $200 billion in bank, especially when they sell devices for a huge premium in those markets.

Update screwed me over. Game Center broke on my iPad and I had to restore as new, though I guess I could have went back to iOS 8.4.1 (Game Center still worked when I reverted back) except I already migrated my notes over, so I would have lost notes.

Also Settings is now using a lot of battery in the background (more than some games I play). That's on the restored as new iPad.

Nice! Notification came up for me a couple minutes early...

EDIT: getting a 'download failed' message :/
Feel fortunate that you are unable to download the update; another 'brick' in the wall of defective releases

can you still download apps from the app store with iOS 6?

Do you people know if it's possible to install the iOS 9 ipsw on my iPhone 6 running 9.1 beta, without restoring the phone?
