The switch used to be --iOS 8 How-to: Customize and disable the contacts section in the multitasking interface
but I'm searching for it via 9.1 and its not showing for me ...
As of right now there's not a way to turn off that annoyance .. Apple needs to add the switch in next . update hopefully .2I don't have the contacts pics in the Phone app unless I open a specific contact, so that's fine, but howinhell do you turn it off for Messages?
I can appreciate those of you who sometimes have trouble being patient when Apple rolls everything out in the U.S. first and your country has to wait. However, you all DO realize Apple is INDEED a U.S. company and as such is pretty much expected to release their stuff here first when ever it is at all possible? If Apple was a UK or Australian based company I would fully expect them to release stuff there first and I'd probably be here in the U.S. waiting still. I'm sure there are TONS of products, stores, and services only available in other countries and not in the U.S. that we would love too, but guess what, we understand those aren't U.S. Based companies and we either wait patiently or a company here releases a comparable product. I apologize if this comes off wrong, but it seems like in the past few months everyone loves to bash the United States or don't begrudge us what is ours. I get it, people hate the U.S. I'm sure some of you are from countries that I'm not particularly fond of either, but you don't see me bashing those countries or complaining about the things they have that we don't just out of spite. So please, for the sake of trying to build peaceful relations and leaving ill feelings towards other countries aside, can we just stop hating on the U.S. or Apple for releasing their products and services here first?
Have you tried a re-boot?Buggy and slow on iPad Air, mini 3 and iPhone 6 Plus. Hangs everywhere even with typing.
I thought IOS 9 was supposed to help older devices?? IOS has almost killed my iPad 2, by the look of the reviews so far IOS is even slower! albeit marginally. How do they make it slower every bloody year..give me back IOS 7...
Yet somehow Google has no problems supporting my country with everything they've got.I can appreciate those of you who sometimes have trouble being patient when Apple rolls everything out in the U.S. first and your country has to wait.
