GM is NOT the newest release, the official is a different version. 13A344 is newest.

Was getting failed too keep trying, mine just clicked in and started. It's the servers getting hammered is all, quit bellyaching.

The GM update is only 42mb itll be quick.

Now it's when the complaints are going to start and the "iPhone slow" searches on Google will peak - just like every release for the last 2-3 years. Apple has become lazy and wants to push releases in time to meet deadlines - compromising software and the overall user experience. It's all about $$$ now. It's sad.

Still, there will be people claiming that Apple will have everything polished by 9.1... What about getting it right on the first release? Waiting for the next release is not an excuse.
iOS 2 - 5, Maps app, MobileMe begs to differ.
In addition, my User Experience was not compromise. It actually gotten better..

I'm sure their servers are being slammed from all over the world. It's almost like a non intentional DOS attack. I'm sure they have many servers housing the updates but it still takes bandwidth and you can bet their network is slammed. I got the message 6-7 times kept trying and now it's installing.

Receiving this error message. Even tried restarting my 6 Plus. Any suggestions?

iTunes says I have the latest version (the last 9.0 public beta). At least my iPhone recognizes that there is an update, but its failing for me as it is for everyone else.
