I've been trying to update three devices. One got to about 90% downloaded then failed. The other two fail more or less instantly. I was trying again and again and again, but will now wait a few hours.

I don't get it -- they have a queuing system so these errors should not happen. Your device requests an update, then waits in a queue until Apple feels they can deliver it. What's the problem? It doesn't seem like a timeout issue since the failure usually occurs within a second of the update being requested.

Got in and was able to download the update after receiving numerous "Update Failed" errors. It's working through "Preparing Update" now.

I REFUSE to accept more terms and conditions which allow Apple to track me. We need a way to download without accepting these ridiculous terms. We bought the phone, we own it, why can't we just download without needing new T&C's?

OTA shows 1GB update on my iPhone 6 - not going to brick it, will go home and update through iTunes.

not taking any risk, thanks apple!

Yes, I am getting this too. I had the goldenmaster developer 9.0 installed already...is that why? Also, why are people with the Goldenmaster 9.0 dev getting this one too?

Updated from GM to new build 13A344. Seems about the same performance wise so far, but I'll reboot later today.

Just keep telling yourself that this is a good problem to have. Our Android brothers would LOVE to be getting a Failed Download message while trying to update their phones to the latest release on the day the upgrade was available.
