It's simple. I want all bugs fixed immediately after release with no software updates. Is that too much to ask?!Damned if you do, damned if you don't. People complain about bugs with a lack of updates, then people complain with too many.
Every update has bugs, the fact that we’re getting frequent updates is a good thing. It's simple. I want all bugs fixed immediately after release with no software updates. Is that too much to ask?!![]()
Hopefully this addresses a variety of Mail issues that different people have been experiencing.
Raise your hand if you think we will be on iOS 13.5.6 by the end of this year 🙋🏽
If only there was a way for Apple to do thorough testing... it's not like they have total control over the software AND hardware.Damned if you do, damned if you don't. People complain about bugs with a lack of updates, then people complain with too many.
Because all these updates (and initial releases) are buggy, that's why. Frequent updates is not a substitution for solid software design practices.I like all the updates. I don't get why people have such an issue with them?

Yes the new firmware issued Friday fixed it,Anyone have an issue with their AirPod Pros in which they are fully charged, but one of them has an exclamation point next to them and audio only comes out of one? Had to reset them to fix it. Annoying issue.
And an almost countless combination of configurations of that software and ever increasing hardware variations. If only there was a way for Apple to do thorough testing... it's not like they have total control over the software AND hardware.![]()
I think at this point we can conclude we're back to iOS 11 days, plenty of bugs. This is getting ridiculous now, with a new update nearly every week. I love apple & have had iPhone for 10 years, but to the best of my knowledge this is the most number of updates for any major release to date..
Come on Apple, get your act together..
how can people complain about bug fixes is beyond my comprehensionDamned if you do, damned if you don't. People complain about bugs with a lack of updates, then people complain with too many.
After a first test (my account is on an Exchange 2016 server)
- Notifications for email on the home screen still don't appear reliably; for my iPhone it is even that notifications appear only after I have unlocked the device (then, however, I get notifications even for emails that I have already moved or deleted)
- Also, devices no longer seem to wake up when I receive email (probably related to the previous one)
- The problem that mail is not there when I receive a notification and I have to refresh manually seems is at least alleviated (Mail seems to auto-refresh now); however, there still seems to be a disconnect between notifications and the email list
- The problem that I have to move (or delete) and email twice to get the operation done seems to be gone (I will have to observer, however).
So my conclusion is: it's still mostly a mess.
They complain when there’s issues to be fixed and they complain when they fix the issues quickly. I wonder what it would feel like to live in a state of perpetual misery? For all the people arguing about updates just go buy an android and be happy, I’m glad Apple is pushing updates quickly and fixing issues just chill out
