Apple Releases iOS and iPadOS 13.4.1 With Fix for FaceTime Bug

Well I finally bit the bullet and upgraded my iPhone 7 Plus from iOS 12.4.1 to iOS 13.4.1
Still no fix for Bluetooth controls in my 2020 Kia radio. Have to touch the iPhone to advance streaming radio. Last time it worked was in iOS 10.

I noticed that the Apple Store now allows me to choose monthly payments on an unlocked iPhone. Under iOS 12 my iPhone 7 Plus wouldn't show that option in the Apple store app but only in safari.
Even my iPhone 6 on iOS 12.4.5 didn't show that option.

This is the first time I’ve been disappointed with an iPad purchase. I just bought a new 12.9 IPP to replace my 2017 10.5 IPP. One of the main reasons for the purchase was to watch the hundreds of the mp4 home videos over my home network during the quarantine. None of my usual video players work - OPlayer, It’s Playing, Player Xtreme, etc. so I downloaded AVPlayer. It plays the videos but I can’t get it to work with my network so I’ve resorted to moving the videos on to the iPad via iTunes. No where near as easy as just picking up my old IPP and pulling up my network. Sure wish they’d make some effort to fix this......
Ah guys. I've updated from iOS 12 to iOS 13 on my iPhone 7 Plus and when I receive fake emails I like to lightly touch the link to see the hidden url which doesn't load the site in the background.
Now it automatically opened the link in a little window and phoned home and started loading the link instead of just showing me the link. How do I turn that security bug off? Now I'll get spam because of this bug. I'll have to switch to airplane mode to test links until this is resolved. I still have 3D Touch right?

In 13.5 you get a preview before a link opens up. I tried in safari, outlook and mail.
I'm getting that now with 13.4.1 in mail. I want to disable that especially in mail.
Interesting, don’t see an option for disabling that behavior in mail.
Having upgraded to an iPhone 11 I'm experiencing new quirks like trying to get rid of the home bar at the bottom.
Still have trouble with Bluetooth in my car.
Have a half dozen apps that I can't update because they're no longer in the store yet they are 64 bit. Yet I have the apps on my computer, I'll have to look at configurator since Apple removed app support for iTunes for iOS 13.
Still waiting for the index to finish so I can look at my photos in messages.
Nothing is simple.
addendum: also had to adjust the color hue because it seem to be a little amber. Whatever happened to the little bubble when you're editing text? It's hard to place the cursor now. Unbelievable, I guess I should've waited until iOS 13 bugs were worked out.
And yes I noticing my oled screen flickers in low light conditions. Great, more eye strain. And what's with mail always going to "all mail" instead of unread mail where I last left it.
addendum 2: still indexing. Tried resetting Siri but no luck. Will have to try an iTunes restore next.
also what's with all the screen shots when locking my iPhone. Annoying.
addendum 3: iTunes restore instead device to device copy solved the indexing problem. Still took 12 hrs to complete but I'm satisfied.
not happy about apps not being copied that are not in the store anymore. Keeping them on my iPhone so when I try configurator I have a reference.
You know all this hype about oled is a bunch of malarkey, slight angles produce a blue hue. Lcd screen was better at maintaining color at angles. Micro led will solve that.
Whats with the keyboard not capitalizing the first word on a new sentence. iOS 13 is full of quirks.
im glad there's a reachability option still.
cant seem to touch a word every time that is misspelled to correct it even though it's red underlined. autocorrect doesn't always work.
wearing mask defeats the purpose of Face ID. Had to use passcode. I'm hoping I can use a different passcode for purchases than unlocking device.
addendum 4: had to turn off swipe. Was getting crazy ghost typing.
I very much dislike the swipe up motion to unlock and for app switcher, so much so that I've enabled the assistive touch option to show that faint home button and programmed it for one press go home, two press app switcher and long press notification.
what's with the extra steps to get to the home screen if you usE Face ID. Since I always use passcode I press the fake home button type my code and I'm in. Almost as good as a home button. Apple should have an option to remove the home bar and make it a home button option. It should also disappear when idle for a few seconds or only when needed.
i don't like how one side swipe down is notifications and other side control center. Would rather have the whole top for notifications and swipe up for control center and use different geasture for home and app switcher.
new cursor movements on spacebar never have enough room and have to lift finger and redraw to continue scrolling edit. Spellcheck gets it wrong a lot. Maybe I need to reset something.
I did get an otterbox vue clear case. Very nice and it glows when the torch is on.
I like how my carrier enabled VoLTE On the iPhone 11. Even though my 7 plus should have supported it, didn't have that setting. Like data with calls now.
addendum 5: what is with iOS 13 running multiple apps? I have an iPhone 11. Doesn't that have 3gb of memory? I switch from playing a game to answer a text and 5 seconds later it restarts? I was sending a tweet and switched to dictionary to check a word for a few seconds and Twitter restarts and lost article. iOS 13 really is garbage, how does Mr Cook put up with this and pretend everything is fine? I'm sure it happens to him too.

I wish I had not updated! Following my update from 13.4 to 13.4.1, Bluetooth audio support in my car (Ford SYNC) stopped working! On my phone, SYNC does NOT show as connected, and when I initiate Bluetooth audio, it can no longer find my phone (can't make it connect from phone, can't connect from car). HOWEVER... for some reason, I can still make hands-free calls and access calling features (such as phonebook) which uses BT!
This is very confusing. While I'm thankful that the hands-free calling still works, I'm very frustrated that the audio streaming seems to have broken. I've tried restarting my car (obviously), restarting my phone, turning BT off/on, etc., but I still cannot get audio connected. The only thing I have not done is a 'forget' and re-pair, because I don't want to lose the ability for my phone to work.
If anyone else has experienced this, please let me know the fix!
This is very confusing. While I'm thankful that the hands-free calling still works, I'm very frustrated that the audio streaming seems to have broken. I've tried restarting my car (obviously), restarting my phone, turning BT off/on, etc., but I still cannot get audio connected. The only thing I have not done is a 'forget' and re-pair, because I don't want to lose the ability for my phone to work.
If anyone else has experienced this, please let me know the fix!
