bug found
hey guys. i don't know of this bug is new to beta 5, but it's one I found. i cropped the picture to hide personal information. this is when your in the maps application and you click the blue open book at the right of the search bar, and you click contacts at the bottom, every other letter is shown as a dot, and not the correct letter. anyone else having this problem?

That's because there isn't enough room to do ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ so they put dots in between every other letter to make it look nicer... Otherwise, it would be too crammed up. It's clever I think.
tapping and holding a phone number in mail or safari etc.
i have just found out that if you tap and hold a number, either in mail or safari, notes etc. it brings you a different option other than just calling that number, you can send a sms, add contact or add to existing.
not sure if this is new to beta 5 or OS3.0, but i havnt noticed it in 2.X
