Well this is how it's working for me and I'm sure you'll have similar results.

Hit restore and it should automatically start downloading 3.0 software. That's what mine is doing.

I'm wondering why they couldn't put voice command on 3.0 for the 3G. Is it a matter of the processing power needed to do voice recognition?

So I click and 112 pm and yay....downloads in a snap...then installs...then crashes and says I have to restore to 2.1 and whatever....ugh...dangit.
