Apple today released iTunes 10.1.2, with Apple's download page details noting only that the update offers stability and performance improvements.
About iTunes 10.1.2
iTunes 10.1.2 provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.
A look at the release notes included with the actual download reveals, however, that the update also brings support for syncing the CDMA iPhone set to launch on Verizon early next month.
iTunes 10.1.2 syncs music, movies, and more with iPhone 4 (CDMA model) and provides a number of important stability and performance improvements.
iTunes 10.1.2 is available via Software Update and Apple's iTunes download page.

Let the ATT remarks begin... sheesh! Growth of iPhone and iOS is good for Apple overall no matter which carrier you use. This isn't Verizon vs. AT&T. This is all pro-Aple and good for developers and consumers. Competition is good!

When it says performance improvements, how noticeable do you actually think that will be?

I hope they fixed the bug where you can't access the last 1 GB of the iPhone / iPad if you use the 128 kbps conversion option for music. That hasn't been fixed since version 9.

is it safe for JB'd? Who tried?

Nevermind: I've installed it and it's safe for my JB'd iP.
However, I thought my fan will take off when running the package scripts at the end of installation process...

how many gigs are you currently using?

One GB less than capacity on my 64 GB iPad and 32 GB iPhone 4. It's a known bug. iTunes and the device show 1 GB free, but nothing will load to the final 1 GB - iTunes gives an error message that there is not enough room to load even 1 MB more.

Ah, yet another round of re-colouring this new release (it is only copying a pict file from one location to another, but I keep forgetting which file it is, ie, I have to go through all of them, and I have to verify that nothing else has changed).

This feels like releases of Android, they are always late because somebody has adjust all the artwork on the manufacturer-specific changes.

BTW, this is were Apple wants the colour to be, in Store part, ie where you spent money, not in your own library where you do not:
