another weakly microsoft update....... EISH, ubuntu next?

edit......... 64 bit yet?

"nope ...... sj"

"if u want 64 bit, go microsoft, ....... sj"

now what?

Why would you think a 10.1.x release be 64-bit? That would probably be new release number.

Also Windows version ain't 64-bit. Just the installer.

But Huet doesn't live in Montreal anymore

...I don't want to talk about that. :(

;)

It's by far the best and most comprehensive software jukebox ever (almost 7000 songs and counting, plus a hundred movies and a few ebooks/podcasts)...unless you're using it on a Winblows PC, of course.

I don't disagree. But you can't deny it's bloatware and feature-creep at its finest, either.

When it says performance improvements, how noticeable do you actually think that will be?

I am beach balling a lot with the current version, hopefully this will fix it. I am simply using iTunes to purchase music and burn it to CD and it beach balls on play back. Keeps playing but the beach ball is displayed a lot

Before iTunes 10 I would've said you were right. However, iTunes 10 is much faster than previous generations.
iTunes 10 has generally a somewhat faster feel to it but the beachballing in particular during updating podcasts has gotten noticeably worse.
Click update all and get a beachball for at least 15 seconds, on a 2009 13" MBP.

Will it wash my car and wipe my arse?

...if not then no thanks.

I hold Apple to a higher standard than most.

oops, sorry, iTune Store is still painfully slow. It like surfing the web using dialup modem on AOL in the 90s.:(

What are you talking about slow I find it to load and look through iTunes store to be fast (like High speed Internet in the 2001) both on my iMac and Win7 Laptop..

I have no problem running iTunes on my Windows 7 Laptop.. It runs as fast as it runs on my iMac and they both are using the same files( I copy my iTune folders from my mac to my windows iTune folder on my laptop)..

I have no problem using either iTunes..

Finally fixed the collapsed-stereo sound quality issue. Apple took their time!

Let the ATT remarks begin... sheesh! Growth of iPhone and iOS is good for Apple overall no matter which carrier you use. This isn't Verizon vs. AT&T. This is all pro-Aple and good for developers and consumers. Competition is good!

My God!! How could you make such a rational statement!!!!!!!!!!:apple:
