Fixed my problem

This update fixed the problem I was having with 'manually managing music and videos'. With itunes 10.2.1 and os 10.6.7, when I would drag a video onto either my iphone or ipad, itunes would eventually freeze up before completing the transfer.

Now, when I drag a video into either, it works!

Anyone getting lockups

Since upgrading to 10.2.2 I have gotten a bunch of lockups. Something that hardly happen with 10.2.1 which is what suppose to have been what they fixed.

Thanks, but what inspector window? is that the preview window under the iTunes Info. is there a easier way to change the iTunes icon?
Go to your Applications folder, locate the iTunes app, click on it once to select it, hit cmd-I: there you are that is what I called the inspector window. In the top left you see the icon, just select it and paste any image onto it.

When iTunes 10 came out and changed the icon (and removed the colour), several people developed apps that did that step automatically for you (and brought the colour back). But I doubt that people have kept updating their home-made apps for every iteration of iTunes since.

"Check For Updates" on Apps doesn't work any more :(

It just briefly says "Accessing iTunes Store" and that's it...

My iPhone is showing 5 updates, so it should do something...

Tried repair permissions but made no difference.

How about fixing the five year old problem of how having 7 photos for a total of 250KB requires 1GB of free space on an iPhone or iPad to complete successfully?

Zune Player on Windows blows this bloated piece of **** iTunes application out of the water. Unfortunately I can't manage my iPhone or iPad with it.

Zune player? Shouldn't you be using a Zune then? You don't need an iOS device. Zune is the most bestest door jam ever. :D

What I want to know is whether they've fixed the PPC bugs that were crashing it with 10.2.1. I can't try it out at the moment to find out.

Obvious troll is obvious.

Must be you then since I find all his 'wishes' on the list to be 100% valid and good ideas. Frankly, I'm sick of the usual suspects on here suggesting that any negative comments about Apple makes you a troll. That is pure fanboy BS garbage. Frankly, I'd put fanboys on his list juts below Steve Jobs. A world without fanatics would be so nice indeed.

why are updates becoming so awkward now? I have never before had to worry about anything other than the Software update client, now it seems that everytime I use the software update, I get a 3hrs+ diminishing exponential progress bar and an eventual reset to kill it.

It's happened with 10.6.7, and I had to resort to the download pages at Apple, and now with iTunes.

what's going on?

it's only a 2007 Alu iMac, it's not quite the Ark yet.
