Just updated iTunes 10.4 using Snow Leopard and it won't let me update apps for my iPhone. Here come the bugs.:(

How do you disable automatic playback when adding a file to iTunes 10.4? I can't find the option in settings, has it been removed?

I just experienced the exact same thing.

After updating iTunes, I opened it and played around.
I then came to the Apps section, and checked to see if any updates were available. There were three, and I clicked the "Download All Free Updates". But it acted just like you describe. I had to click on "Get Update" on each app.

Furthermore I'm pretty convinced that in the previous version, when browsing around in the iTunes app store, I could use gestures to navigate back to previous pages.
This I cannot do anymore. And when I click on the back arrow, it doesn't take me back to the previous page, but all the way back to "My Apps Update" page where it tells me that there are no updates available.

It seems they have released this version of iTunes a bit too early.

I havent downloaded the new release and mine does exactly the same thing...i suspect this is something to do with iTunes store...

One new feature the upgrade to iTunes seems to have brought back is the "embedded album art not showing up in Finder" bug from v9.

When you take an MP3 without album art, let iTunes find it, drag the art to the desktop and drag it back to the file (thereby embedding it), the icon doesn't change to the album art in the finder. That pisses me off. Took Apple like 4 months+ to fix last time. Hopefully Lion (?) will fix this?

Anyone else experience this? Other ways of embedding art?

Yes, this bug is definitely back.

Airplay issues with 10.4?

Anyone else having airplay problems immediately after updating to 10.4? I use a Pioneer receiver which I specifically bought for its airplay support, and although 10.4 (Windows 7) sees it just fine and still shows the icon like it's connected, when I actually try to PLAY anything to it, it hangs with the phrase "connecting to VSX-1021" in the iTunes command window, and then times out with the following error:

"An error occurred while connecting to the airplay device "VSX-1021" An unknown error occurred (-15000)."

I haven't seen any other posts about this anywhere on the 'net. Perhaps the 10.4 update is just too new and the amount of people using Airplay (or Airplay to non-Apple products, even if they are officially licensed, like the Pioneer receiver) is just too small.

I've already sent Pioneer an email on the subject, because I figure the onus is on them to make their product work with iTunes. But it'd be great if anyone knew of a workaround.

How to disable the iTunes Store link?

Updating to 10.4 (iTunes that is) has brought back the iTunes Store link on the side of the song title. While not as annoying as in older version, I still don't want it.

Anybody know how to get rid off it??

How about Tinkertool? I have no arrows and I think it is because I was able to turn them off with a checkbox in Tinkertool.

Odd, iTunes 10.4 is a 64-bit application on Snow Leopard.

I also thought it's a 32-bit app on SL... but's 64-bit on my SL MacBook.

There is a fix! Create another user account with administrator privliges then log into that new user account and download the updates.
