I'm in the US.

Shouldn't it appear under "Music" on the top bar?
It simply doesn't exist.

In the iTunes store, it's on the far right, opens up a new drop down window pane... but then just takes me to my own library when I click it

That's exactly what I am experiencing, too. The problem is that I don't have a "Radio" option when I am click on Music under Library. I just have Songs, Albums, Artists, Genres, Videos, and Internet. "Radio" does not appear in the list. I am using Snow Leopard, and some other Snow Leopard users have reported the same thing. Perhaps Snow Leopard is not compatible with iTunes Radio.

----------

Open the file in the installer called "Read Before You Install iTunes.app" . Under iTunes requirements it states:
• iTunes Radio requires OS X version 10.7 or later

Oh, OK... That explains it. Luckily I am just using 10.6.8 on my work computer, so it doesn't matter. I am looking forward to trying iTunes Radio out on one of my other computers. Thanks for the tip!

Same here, no radio, just says "internet" where the radio is supposed to be.
I'm on 10.6.8. Does it require mountain lion?

Wondering the same thing!
I have 10.6.8 on my macbook pro and i was wondering what I have to do to upgrade it to the most current operating system? Thank you! I didn't realize that Itunes Radio wouldn't be supported on my operating system...

I have Mountain Lion and just installed the new iTunes, and there's no sign of iTunes Radio whatsoever. Looks like they pulled it at the last minute…

Anyone getting any ads? I'm not...

I thought this was ad driven. I haven't heard a single ad yet. I don't subscribe to iTunes match anymore. I did at one time but decided not to renew last year. Did Apple overlook this for former iTunes match subscribers? :D I'm not complaining. I was just confused. Knowing Apple reads these forums I assume this will be corrected shortly now that I let the cat out of the bag. ;) I was just curious if anyone was hearing ads or they had them turned off or something for some weird reason.

Collapse 'Featured Stations'...

Just wondering if anyone has discovered a way to eliminate/collapse the 'Featured Stations' row at the top of iTunes Radio (so one doesn't have to look at a number of unwanted stations every time...)?

Overall iTunes Radio is pretty slick, I must say. The ads aren't too in-your-face so far, thankfully. Looking forward to playing with it further and really tweaking the stations.

I installed it on my ML MBA, and Radio was the first thing that popped up when I launched iTunes. Haven't tried installing it on my SL iMac yet.

It's there.

How much to you want to bet they didn't fix the USB Hotspot problem with SnowLeopard

I always keep the older working 2.3.0 kext around because each update fails to fix this simple problem.

Can't update via Mac app store. Keeps comming up with an error after a few seconds of download. God everybody is killing Apple.

Once again anyone outside the USA is treated like a second class client. No iTunes radio! Adds to the extensive list of features and Apps which are only available to US clients.

And this added to the fact we frequently pay more for Apple products and for apps than those in the States!

It's time that we were all treated in the same way, at the same time and at the same price!

No IRadio on my Snow Leopard either

Running OSX 10.6.8, downloaded and installed 11.1 no problem. No radio though. Anyone else having issues on Snow Leopard?

I just downloaded iTunes 11.1 and it looks exactly like the older version. There is no Radio in the tool bar. Still only says Internet Radio with the list of the Live 365 Radio Stations.

I downloaded 11.1 on my MacAir running Mountain Lion and iRadio is there. Still nothing on my Apple TV for an update.

Have not updated my iPhone 4 yet.

Same here. I guess Radio must be so integrated with iCloud that it won't work on SL. Oh, well. SL still meets all of my needs, and not having Radio won't convince me to upgrade.

Downloads Folder

Anyone else having trouble downloading from Apple.com? I just get redirected to a "thank you for downloading" page, but the download never starts.

Apologies if anyone else got to this question, but I've seen it several times.

Check your Downloads folder. I'm on OS X 10.8.5 on a MBA; the .dmg file gets thrown, pretty quickly, to the Downloads folder while the Apple website redirects you to the Thank You page. iTunes 11.1 downloads in the background for me.

Hope that helps.

You do realize that this is not a decision that Apple made to screw over the non-US customers. Licensing music is different in each country and jurisdiction that Apple does business in. If you want to be mad, be mad at the system of music licensing, but I'm pretty sure that Apple would like to be able to sell all available music in the world to every person in the world...
