Wait, an iPod with a SIM card?

Up next allows you to queue songs. Click the playlist-looking icon in the info window at the top to see the queue. click the arrow next to songs to add them to the queue.

Right but that's not the same as iTunes DJ, thats just the same as adding songs to a playlist. I already have custom playlists that I ran through iTunes DJ. The functionality of iTunes DJ is lost in iTunes 11

Has anyone else noticed that when you click on the album art, you get a resizable Quicktime-like album cover with player controls on it?

I think that's pretty cool, and should satisfy a lot of people who have been complaining about not being able to view their album art at a larger size.

This was in 10.7. :p

What's with the love of blue icons in the dock?

Safari, Mail, iTunes, App store, Messages...

How about some different colors?

Already Hung... ughh

I've had it for 5 minutes and it already froze and crashed when I was updating settings. Not too shabby apple... :( :(

Hoping iPhoto and iWork and iMovie are next up. Assuming Apple still employs desktop software teams...

anyone know how to search for specific songs on the ipod? when you put the song in the search on top it searches your library not the iPod.

If you tilt your 27" iMac at an extreme angle, the reflection on the iTunes 11 volume knob changes. Scott Forstall's last laugh from hell.

I really like this so far. I like it a lot.

The radio interface could do with a bit of work - no graphics, and it's just a bit dull and hard to find your favourites, but everything else looks really good.

Anyone know what the "Single" refers to?Image
Single refers to it playing out of that one single device. I'm not aware of how iTunes works with the Apple TV, but I have speakers hooked up to my Airport Express. I have a multiple and single tab. Playing music with multiple will play music from my computer itself, and from the the speakers connected to the Apple Express. Playing music with single will give me the option of either having the music come from my computer, or from the connected speakers.

Make sense?

Well, considering the comments above, it really seems like this new version is an iOSified piece of ****.

Flawed list view, dual-column track list (an UI nightmare when you want to have a fluid list of your artist's songs), non-collapsible iTMS arrows, no iTunes DJ, no Cover Flow and so on...tough to accept.

Is there ANYTHING Apple has released recently that you haven't complained about out of curiosity?

Like the new 3.0 Remote App:

*Access all the content types
*Ability to make it stay awake/alive in settings for instance access
*Turn visuallizer on and off remotely and it automatically goes full screen. Nice little feature: say you go from a movie to music while hooked up to screen or projector, instead of being stuck looking at the library.
*Up next preview on playlists (before it just showed where the track was on the album)

In one of the last updates the disabled the option to change ratings while playings songs on your Apple TV. Now it disappeared from the remote app for you iTunes library as well. Why? This really sucks...
