I haven't yet dared to update to iTunes 12.2, so will read the good folks' comments here to see whether it plays nicely with iTunes Match.

Has anyone else had their Ghostbusters album given the wrong album art?

Doesn't fix playing songs in albums in reverse order.

1. Open "Album" view, set order to "By Year, Descending"
2. Pick a song in an album
3. Skip to next track
4. You just went BACKWARDS!
5. Choose "By Year, Ascending" and go forward!

What are you talking about?? Just drag songs...

I'm talking about Apple Music songs only. If I find a song, say under the "New" tab, I have to either add it to my library, or open up that album before I can add it to a playlist. You can't drag and drop songs from Apple Music. I've attached two screenshots to show what I mean. Note how in the first screenshot (on the main page of "New"), "Add to Playlist" isn't an option...I can only "Add to My Music." In the second screenshot (when viewing an album), it is. Same song, different behaviors.

iCloud music has always had issues with album artwork since it's introduction and no way to fix it. If anyone wants to help please login to https://bugreport.apple.com and duplicate this bug report: http://www.openradar.me/16793321
Until today, I'm thinking...

Yes, I've had that gripe. I found a workaround last week for artwork changes and was considering posting about it in the next day or two but thought I'd give the updated iTunes app a try. Success, so far.

With an iPhone 6 and iPad Air on VZW's LTE network, an rMBP on iTM, and an ATV all running at the same time, I made about 35-40 changes to albums (artwork, name changes, not compiliations) and genres (name changes) that had "issues" with iTM. My main library resides on a Mini Server, with rips, iTS purchases, and Google Play/XBox Store purchases in that library. My Mini Server, rMPB, and ATV are all on the same network.

Every single change was reflected on my other devices, with the lag being between 3 seconds and a couple of minutes. I'm actually a bit stunned that - for the first time - changes were actually made and that they stuck and are still sticking. Updates in iTunes 12.2 weren't working like this - I'm guessing that Apple finally hired a janitor to unclog that toilet pipe? My iPad and iPhone were seeing the changes in almost real time.

I see many people complaining about iTunes's UI. I don't see it. iTunes 11 and 12 has always worked for me, and I like the general UI. You can hide the things that you don't want to see and there are tabs in each category. The speed hasn't been an issue, even though I'm on a base level 2012 MBA.

Do any of those stations other than Beats 1 actually work for you? I've not managed to get any of them to play anything.

Same here (Windows 8.1 64bit / iTunes 12.2 and 12.2.1). I'm signed into the Japanese itunes store, so I see a J-Pop and K-Pop featured station in addition, but nothing happens when I click on them. They do stop whatever else is in progress though.
Also "... Share station" attempting to copy the URL brings up "Sharing iTunes Radio Stations is current unavailable. Please try again later".

New one: Clicking on the "Connect" tab gives me "Apple Music" An Error occured.

I've noticed this too, Apple hasn't done enough testing of this software...

You are right, to me the whole point of Match is to completely replace your library with iTunes files, and unify all of the songs you had before.

The solution would be simple. a) Add a "Force Upload" button and b) Add a "Match to different version" button. The issues can be resolved if Apple provided those options.

Yea, agreed. Though, in Apple's (old) theory of simplicity, I think it would be possible to come up with logic that detects which version is intended to be matched with a good degree of accuracy. No confusing buttons needed.

Still doesn't fix the issue where your metadata gets altered behind your back. As this issue seems to come and go, I rather think it's a server issue though. But yes: I edit the metadata and artwork of a song, check back 10 minutes later and my updates are gone. Nice one, Apple.

Don't ever delete the iCloud or Apple cookie in Safari on the Mac. If you do, you can lose metadata in iTunes.

Is this a sarcastic comment?

An iTunes update for iTunes on Mac and PC isn't going to change anything on an iOS device, beta or not.

NO. (and I'm not certain "sarcasm" would be the right word...)

The new iPad beta allows folders to be 4x4 instead of 3x3, you couldn't use iTunes to do sort folders with an iPad running the beta iOS 9 because it still only supports 3x3.

Am I the only one whose iTunes crashes? I was making a Playlist and adding songs, and when I wanted to check it, apparently it added the same song like a thousand times and now I can't open iTunes in my PC or in my iPod because it crashes!!!

This is a strange statement. The primary goal of Match is to make *your* library available on all your devices, not to replace it. Why would I want to "unify" my carefully ripped and otherwise acquired music to iTunes versions?
A "force upload" option would be nice, similar to what Google Music provides. Still don't see the point of option b).

1.- I said "TO ME", not to everyone, TO ME.
2.- I have already explained this. It is not rocket science.

Of course, it Apple could provide a better way of making sure you get your specific version, then of course, less buttons = better IMO, but I think it would be easier (in the meantime) to do this than to rework the whole matching algorithm.
