I hope there is a blog / post / explanation of what itunes match people should know or do, with this new music service. I have been a itunes match user for 2 years now. Do I keep using it, and subscribe to this? Or stick with itunes match? More info needs to be given from apple.

I don't know what they're doing with the subscriptions, but this has been addressed in their FAQ's. iTunes Match will continue as an independent service, so you can subscribe to Match but not Apple Music. However, Apple Music uses Match on the backend to put your library in the cloud, so subscribing to Apple Music means you no longer need to subscribe to iTunes Match. I canceled my auto-renewal.

My Playlists are completely ****ed up

Tell me about it. Loaded iTunes holding down either alt key or command key. chose library, iTunes folder, previous libraries, picked one from about an hour ago before I chose to use this ****** service. Asked if I wanted to integrate with iCloud. Clicked no. All back to normal. No stupid cloud icons, playlists back to normal.

:)

I hope so cause I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone and it removed all the songs from my music and left only the songs that I purchased and or added to my library via Apple Music. When I turned iTunes Match back on it re added all the songs it removed. This could also be because I'm still waiting for Apple to release iTunes 12.2 for Windows.

What?!? Carly Rae Jepsen's new track is not available on AM. Guess I'm sticking with Spotify for now ...

I did the same, but somehow my local files had also been messed up. They where all mixed up.

Thankfully I had a Time Machine backup from yesterday. I can't believe something this serious could have been released by Apple.

Do you have Apple Music on your iPhone? I no longer see a Match setting, it's "iCloud Library", which as a Match subscriber was automatically turned on for me already. Or at least I assume it's because I am a Match subscriber, my friend is not and this setting was turned off for him, and he also had to flip a switch to see everything and not just what's stored locally, so basically the Apple Music equivalent of turning Match "on".

No Cafe Del Mar on Apple Music but they got garbage like David Guetta, Avicci and Tiesto? The world is coming to a end.

They need to change that logo. It's pretty bad.

On the other hand, I'm gonna have to get used to this new UI.

I've been a Match sub for years now. Everything that is supposed to be on is on and same for things that are supposed to be off. I wanted to see what would happen if I turned off iTunes Match. My music app froze and when it unfroze all the music in my library (25,000) only showed music and I had just added via Apple Music and my purchased music. Again I have yet to get the new iTunes update and suspect that I need to use Apple Music on iTunes and sign in that way so it can actually see the tracks on my hard drive. Again not sure though.
