Unfortunately, the "Recently Added" section in album is all screwed up. As of this update, it's now showing albums that I’ve had in iTunes for 9 or 10 years. Also, switching the setting to show albums added in the last 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months now has no effect. The feature is now totally broken.

I can sorta understand obscure features getting overlooked. (Sorta.) But how does a major feature at the very top of the iTunes window get screwed up—and no one at Apple notices before the software is released?

Well, Apple Music hasn't quite got the start times down like Spotify. If I click on any Spotify on my diabolical home internet even with quality settings set to "Extreme" (which is higher than Apple Music) it plays within half a second. Apple Music is more like 3-4 seconds until start at the moment.
I realize you said you'd give them a pass (but only due to servers being bogged down....) but I think it's quite unfair to compare a newly worldwide launched product to one that's been seasoned. I'm sure Spotify had tons of growing pains to go through when it first released. It takes time and software updates before something will be buttery smooth and fast.

iTunes Match has become convoluted and unclear.

They've still got this under the iTunes Match button!!

"Requires iOS5"

Not sure what I've done, but now iTunes is completely unresponsive. It crashes immediately after opening it.

I would advise anyone who used iTunes Match in the past to wait on this update. It's a mess.

I hope there is a blog / post / explanation of what itunes match people should know or do, with this new music service. I have been a itunes match user for 2 years now. Do I keep using it, and subscribe to this? Or stick with itunes match? More info needs to be given from apple.
I cancelled my iTunes Match renew. I think it will go away in November but I don't I'll even notice.

The right click navigation is all over the place, options appear and disappear for items completely randomly. Some will let you click and add to playlist, others only show share but if you click through to the item on another screen the add to playlist option becomes available.

Don't want no watch

Don't want no streaming music service

Don't want no in app ads

Don't want to be constantly marketed to...

ENOUGH already!
Nobody is forcing you to buy an Apple watch.

Buy apps that don't have ads, buy the ad-free upgrade, or build your own ad-free apps.

If you don't want to be constantly marketed to, what the heck are you doing on the internet? You might as well get rid of all your technology and go find a remote cave to live in.

Can someone tell me why iTunes 12.2 is not showing up on my app store? It's very frustrating... it only shows a garageband update and I'm on OS X

there is one way to get rid of match. Unauthorised the computer, sign out of it and then sign in again. Then authrorise it. iTunes match will not turn on automatically

For whatever reason you can't Airplay Beats 1 from iTunes. The rest of the radio stations and my library still allow for Airplay. Not sure why they have limited that.
