Note that the match limit seems to have gone away in the last few weeks. I've gone over the 25k song limit and match isn't complaining.

How is this thing in any way more "designed for OS X El Capitan" compared to the previous version? There's is no noticeable difference whatsoever.

I'm still getting the error message that songs in excess of 25,000 cannot be uploaded. I'm in the UK, I suppose it's possible that Apple has arranged different deals in different countries so that you can go over the limit in the US but not in some other countries.

I've found another exciting feature! Tried to play a song from Apple Music, took 15 seconds to start, then would rebuffer every 3-5 seconds.

Dear Apple, it is not a good idea to host Apple Music on the same servers as your software updates...

In case anybody is wondering if the mess of corrupted libraries, mis-matched songs and all other issues with iCloud Music are fixed... the answer is NO. It's all still there. If you update metadata in one library hoping to manually fix the mess, don't! The changes do not (or only partially) propagate to other devices. Or they propagate to other devices, only to revert back later on. It's just magic. But not in good way.

Is it updated to fix issues with people with large iTunes libraries when they edit the tags or add or delete music in artist mode that the spinning beach ball comes up for a minute every, single, time?

I wonder if it will let me download this one. 12.2 gets halfway and then fails. Even though it shows up again and again in the "software updated within the last 30 days" list.

I didn't expect to see this.
I did. Every day I expect an update because I can't imagine that Apple will allow iTunes to continue in the state that it's in. Then they put out an update, tweak the chrome a bit, and the underlying functionality is still as fragile as it ever was.

Am I the only one that misses iSync? Give me one good, solid application that does the job of synchronizing to my devices. Then make iTunes a dedicated media library.

I'm certain as most are, that a rewrite is in the works and has been for some time.

iTunes quit unexpectedly...
*sigh*
Sadly, this was not unexpected, no matter what the system message says.

I've been sure that this must be the case since like iTunes 8 or 9, and they keep trying to hold the old code together with duct tape and baling wire. If Apple Music wasn't the perfect time to unveil the new application, when is?

Am I the only one who can't arrange Apps with IOS 9 from iTunes? Was hoping 12.3 and a fresh install of iOS 9 would fix it. It didn't even with a new empty iTunes Library, I get the spinner all day when I go to Apps

Nope. I'm having this same issue.. I was also hoping 12.3 would fix this issue

Resume playback finally implemented? What I meant is that you are listening a very long playlist of thousands of songs, quit iTunes, reboot the Mac or shut down the Mac. The next time that you open iTunes it starts from song number one again, but you want it to resume from the last song played (say, song number 1456 or whatever). For me that is the most essential feature missing in iTunes, and it was available in SoundJam MP back in 2001, from where iTunes was developed.

With three backups in place, one on an external drive, I took a plunge and tried to enable iCloud. Not only haven't they raised the limit, the same idiotic error message remains in place:

I'm hoping it fixes the almost daily crashes I was suffering with previous version on 10.11 PB6.

Wasn't happy syncing any of my iOS devices and generally hung part way through the process leaving unusable icons on the device and a force quit on the iMac.

iTunes has lost it's charm from the early iTunes days (version 1 and 2). I would like to see iTunes focus on music only and have something else for video. It would be nice to have my music on my local drive and my video on an external drive without having to toggle iTunes libraries.
