Apple Releases iTunes 7.7

No one seems to have posted this one yet. You can synch the iPod touch with google contacts. Sweet.

(Little things excite me)

Oh and Hacked 1.1.4 w/ jail broken apps still working on my end.

Anyone know if I'm going to have to shell out extra money since I never bought the January update?

im from UK and 7.7 isnt showing up on site so i had to d/l from the USA site, and half way throught installer i got an error saying itunes couldnt be installed but the installer carried on and when it finished i ran itues and it said i had 7.7!
but i cant see the app store so i think im not actually updated yet 🙁
 
Dang it, 3 hours until the iPhone launch and the Apps Store still doesn't work. It's possible that it'll never be available here in NZ - just like how we don't have TV Shows or Movies on iTunes...

You've got to turn the Applications section on in your iTunes prefs (general)

I'm pretty sure that 7.7 has only been uploaded in the US so far. I'm in Australia and there's no word of the update in iTunes and Software Updater. The Australian website still says "Download iTunes 7.6" whereas the US version says "Download iTunes 7.7". It should be uploaded in other countries very soon!
 
I'm in NZ and Software Update gave me 7.7. Manual download from the NZ site also gave me 7.7.

Yeah that's cause the iPhone's being released in NZ before any other country. You're ahead of the rest of the world and Apple is treating each country (except US) according to time zone!
 
yeah still nothing here yes in either iTunes or Apple Software Update.

Not in that big of a hurry though since I can't get my iPhone till Saturday at the earliest...probably not till Sunday. I'm letting it update instead of manually downloading it.
 
Well they are lining up at my work now. (In NZ)
we are opening at 9AM so thats 12 hours away. and its freezing Temps
We are going out when we get in at 7ish and going to offer them all Coffees
