Sorry richtomas, I didn't mean to frighten you :). Ah, it's the minor detail that makes all the difference.
 
I think that something is going on with my 7.7 iTunes update. I do not have a applications icon under my library like other people have posted. Am I doing something wrong here??

You have to enable it in preferences, I had the same issue but the answer is way back in this thread.:)
 
So many good free apps! Haven't even considered looking at the pay ones yet. :)

Everyone should look into the Pandora app. I would have paid $50 for that alone.

2.0 update........soon please!
 
I have spotted one free app that was a jailbroken app Light.

my only pain now is I cant sync apps in work cause it says my itunes/pc isn't authorised.

EDIT: crisis over just double clicked an app and it asked me to authorise

Can it downsample yet?

Why does Jobsy expect any muso with tons of high bit-rate music to get a flash based iPod when his market leading jukebox software still lacks this otherwise standard feature?

Wake me when the 128-gig iphone comes out.
 
my JB ipod touch worked sync'd fine with 7.7... roll on 2.0!

I haven't ventured into the paid section (can i trust myself?) are the January Update apps in there??
 
sorry, i didn't make that very clear.

no the apps do not work with 1.1.4. I just meant that the ipod sync'd normally with the new version of itunes. the itunes store apps do not sync with the ipod touch on 1.1.4 :eek:
 
damn I was tempted to leave 2.0 and come back to 1.1.4 jailbroken you got my hopes to shoot me down lol

on a 2.0 related note so far I have had two ipod crashes whilst syncing apps

The odd thing is that iTunes DOESN'T lack that feature; my mum has a Shuffle and there's an option to reduce tracks down to 128 kb/s AAC when synching... but I've never seen that option with a "normal" iPod plugged in :confused:

Ziphone on itunes 7.7

Anyone tried itunes 7.7 on jailbroke 1.1.4 (with Ziphone), succesfully yet?
Or am i correct in thinking its best not to update? :confused:
