Breaks Spirit JB?

Does this actually break the spirit JB or does it just make it so you can no longer JB once you have it installed?

Like... if I update itunes to 9.2 and then sync, my phone will go into a boot loop?

Or if I try and jailbreak my iphone or ipad with spirit and and I have itunes 9.2 installed then it goes into a bootloop?

If someone finds out, or is gutsy enough to try it and find out... let us know.

WARNING TO ALL FUTURE Spirit JAILBREAKERS. If you run Spirit with iTunes 9.2, you will go into a Boot Loop!

So he made it sound like it only affects future jailbreakers.

Does anyone Know if this update fixes the Office 2010 64 bit Problem (Contact Syncing Problem)

any developer care to run a quick md5 of their legit .ipsw file for the 3gs? thanks in advance. :apple:

+1 I'd also like to know.

Amazing

I work in IT at a small company and know what it's like to roll out an update to our employees, and all the questions it raises...whether there are problems or not.

I marvel at the required planning, coordination and support needed to roll an update like this out to millions of users...including the QA testing beforehand.

Like others...I'd love to see iOS 4 in this iTunes update, but can appreciate why they stagger the updates (10.6.4 -> iTunes 9.2 -> iOS 4).

hm... I'm having a weird issue with album artwork

If you jailbroke your iPad with spirit, it will sync fine with iTunes 9.2.

If you are not jailbroken already and try to run spirit with 9.2, it will send your iPad into a boot loop.

Well they're learning from last year's (or was it two) disaster with the OS update/MM/iPhoneOS 3 at same time.

it's iTunes, how it could be fast?

I am running iTunes 9.0 (last stable build in my experience) and I have a rather gigantic music library on an iMac G5 2.1 GHz with only 2.5 GB of memory (where each album is a playlist) and it is running rather smoothly. I have very few complaints on speed. Only thing I would *love* is a bigger display so I can see all of the column info.

Must be a bug with Spirit or something if other tools is working.

Once again, the new iTunes asks me to "Accept All Incoming Connections" every time I launch it. Now I have to delete iTunes completely and reinstall it - the only known way to defeat this problem.

Why use ibooks?

I've purchased a few books through ereader. ibooks looks to be a similar experience except that you can't read the purchased books on your computer.

IT IS INSANE!

If I want to use ibooks I need an ipod touch, iphone or ipad. I don't have any of these devices. And even if I did, I'd still want the ability to read on my computer of I wish to. ereader has an app for iOS and still runs on computers and other devices.. It is more versatile.

My iTunes library is sounding a lot better. Is anyone else noticing this? Almost like the audio is clearer.

strange, I thought mine sounded better after installing the 10.6.4 update but wasn't sure, have not installed the new version of iTunes yet but will see if it does sound any better after that (downloading at 6kb/s :p )
