i dun wanna start the holywar but really, who cares about win users? u chose what u need.

I'm sorry, but there are far far more Windows users out there than Mac users. I simply refuse to buy a Mac because they are extremely over-priced. It is one thing to spend $300 on a phone that will be obsolete in a year or two, and it is completely another to spend $2,000+ on a Mac computer that will also be obsolete in 1-2 years. Until Apple gives me a way to upgrade my Mac without completely replacing it with a new one, I will NEVER buy a Mac.

I'm quite happy with my iPhone/iPad and Windows 7 PC. My only complaint is that iTunes is a huge resource hog and it crashes often. It's funny how Apple goes on and on about how their stuff doesn't crash or have security holes, yet iTunes is the app that crashes most frequently on my PC. Also GS security can tell you how Apple has security holes.

Some of you Apple fan boys are just naive. Wake up and smell the MARKETING.

Scrolling through iTunes is much faster, but syncing a device brings the entire system down to a crawl. This is so frustrating, I'm tired of Apple releasing poorly written software for Windows. QuickTime is completely broken (I also had this problem with QT on Vista with iTunes 8)

iTunes 9.0 was perfectly fine on Windows 7, I'm not sure how Apple managed to screw it up again.

Not always, work did not allow me to buy a Macbook Pro and let me run bootcamp for my work needs. They told me to order a Dell and send them the bill.

sad.buy yourself a very personal macbook pro and be happy.you can do it,you have a job.

Spec for Spec, Macs aren't that much (if any) more expensive. They just don't have low grade options. (not including the way out dated macpro). And iTunes runs much much better on OSX than it does windows. Not sure why.

strange, I thought mine sounded better after installing the 10.6.4 update but wasn't sure, have not installed the new version of iTunes yet but will see if it does sound any better after that (downloading at 6kb/s :p )

Maybe someone jacked around your EQ when you weren't looking... and updating maybe reset it? Just a guess.

happy windows 7 user ? oh please. you're not happy AT LEAST for 1 reason, windows itunes is continuing to crash.at least.i'm afraid to talk about other crappy software and about windows 7 itself.
I switched for a less.really.i just liked my ipod mini (green aluminum "fatso") and thought that mac will be great ;)

help! my iphone 3gs doesnt sync with itunes 9.2! what is wrong my my itunes?
error message " the iphone cant be synced, a duplicate file name was specified" what does it mean?

Heh, well... considering most iPhone users are probably win users, I suspect Apple cares.
considering this **** is not an isolated case ,but a thing that continues to torture windows users,i suspect Apple doesn't.i'll tell you more.i feel apple's pain programming for windows.really.

"most iPhone users are probably win users"
things are changing.

btw is there a universal software from microsoft to share windows mobile devices with mac that works great without any problems? cmon, microsoft can't even include some drivers and software for mac with their webcams.lol.

Seems to me that if OS market share for windows includes pocket pc's running mobile version of windows, that it's only fair to include iOS in OS X market share statistics. iOS = "OS X mobile".

I hear ya... Things are changing. Before OSX, I think Apple was kinda... sad. These days on the other hand, the whole package is quite an amazing thing. I only have a single mac (macbook air) that I bought for fun, but I'd use it over my PC if I had a big monitor for it and all of my professional software ran on it. What a beautiful machine/OS the mac is. Maybe in a couple years I can completely transition over to apple stuff. Now, if only they'd kick Al Gore off the board, they'd be style'n.

Gosh, it actually syncs even the error message is popping out! but just wonder how could this happened to my iphone!? has anyone encounter this?

Yea, I know, it still syncs, but the error is rather annoying. Hopefully this well either be fixed on or before iOS 4 is out.

Come on girls, play nice...

....we all have lots of new things to play with, whether windows or mac.

Exciting times the next few days/weeks.
