Just tried to download it off of my ADC account. Not there. Just 561, could it be releasing today?

LOL @ the folks all riled up over a minor point update.

The release of 10.6.3 might be linked with the new MBPs...they could be timed to be launched together.

By the way, this just in - a SPECIAL EVENT to release iPhone OS 4.0 on 14 March 2010!!!

"Petite info de dernière minute : Un événement spécial sera organisé le 14 mars pour la présentation de la dernière mouture du firmware 4.0 pour l’iPhone ! Et qui sait, peut être une présentation d’un nouvel iPhone !"

p.s.: It's a Sunday, but who knows? ;)

OH just bring in the new MAc Pro's. I can't run a business like this. I need a new one now! And stop whining about MBP's they aren't gonna be that much better..

Tell me about it...longest cycle for notebooks, longest cycle for OS X...I hope Apple blows us away with new releases this year, because it's awfully hard to wait for them...:(

I seem to recall people wanting their software updates to be PERFECT and criticising Apple for rushing updates out of the door? So, they can't win really, can they. I don't know anyone with issues running 10.6.2 (myself included) so this needs to not mess anything up, while addressing the issues experienced by some users. Not an issue - take your time, get it right.

Likewise MBPs - not yet a year old. That is no slowing down on product cycles. You want new product releases - well, there's this thing called the iPad, then a new phone and very probably new Mac Pros, New iMacs and new books on the way in 2010 - which I believe is the entire product line.

What more do people need?

Because of people like you who call iPet and such products and keep clamoring for more useless gadgets I'm all messed up waiting for the new Mac pro. I really miss the old days when Apple took interest in professionals using their products..

All fair points...but people are just irrational these times... :p

What's wrong with the current Mac Pros?

Any mention of new MBP code in they latest build?

A guy can ask, can't he?

A guy can ask, but the question is getting a little monotonous. How about asking the question someplace where it might count? I really doubt that an OS X update like this would specify a single class of hardware; that sort of thing would come through in other ways.

*snip*

10.6.2 has been flawless for *me*. I never assumed that everyone has the same experience I do, but I haven't had ANY crashes with Snow Leopard yet. Flash crashed on me a few times, but I blame Adobe for that. So far, Snow Leopard has been ROCK SOLID and FAST on *my* computer. I'm sorry that it has caused you problems.

[…]

Are these the changes made since 10.6.2, or since the previous seed of 10.6.3?

Thanks.

Glad to hear they're working on printing. Snow Leopard made printing near impossible for a while, until I called Apple Customer service. Then they had me to some hocus pocus and I was able to work around the problem.

10.6.2 works but it's still no Tiger.

Tiger? Tiger was nice five years ago.

But . . .

No Spaces
No Quick Look
No Stacks
No Time Machine
No Finder sidebar enhancements, etc.

Leopard was better than Tiger in nearly every respect, and SL takes it to a new level.

Nonsensical comparisons with Tiger are getting tiring, Eidorian...time to change the record, Sir.

I'll wait for 10.7 first. Apple decided to break too many standing paradigms with Finder and Spotlight.

Time Machine and Quick Look are the only major standouts. Quick Look by default breaks usability Spotlight so the jury is out there.
