Same exact problem...don't really know whats going on.
Install the Reversioner.pkg which was in the Developer seed and after that, hit Software update (without rebooting your machine!).

or buy a mac for hone
Running Dev Build 10H542 and can't see the final release under Software Update yet...anyone else having this problem?
I've tried downloading the Combo Update from an earlier poster but, although it installs fine, it doesn't seem to have had any effect on which build I'm running...
Any ideas, anyone?

True. There is a very good reason for this actually.

It's really strange, isn't it? I absolutely love installing updates, and that despite the fact that everything worked just fine on my machines
It could very well be Blizzards "fault". As I said earlier, there have been quite a few builds to the OS X upgrade since patch 4.0.1 was released for WoW.With Liquid Detail and Sunshafts maxed (notice the lack of water and sunshafts in this area as well):

I seriously hope Blizzard's at fault here, but considering their "some features require 10.6.5 so wait for that"-ish statement, I doubt they need to patch it in themselves. It was to my understanding that these features would be enabled when 10.6.5 was installed.
Can you tell me how. I love if I could only back up the documents, music, video, pictures, downloads, and a think there is another folder.
Do you have a valid explanation as to why repairing permissions is not pointless?
Aaaand just like that, we're back.
Also, Starcraft 2 does not seem to play any better with the update. I have no hard benchmarks, but I couldn't set the settings any higher than they were under 10.6.4 without pretty significant slowdowns.

Also, make sure that you point your left hand toward Cupertino during the installation to channel Steve's vibes into your Mac. This is important!
Spread the word.
