Perhaps this explains it:

At page https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1981?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US it says

"System Requirements : macOS Mojave 10.14"

That means betas of 10.14.1 won't "see" it. It is already 10.14.1, albeit a lower build. Nevertheless the full installer can force it to update - because a full installer can be used even to install the same system over itself. A delta can't do that.
I don't have 10.14.1 beta. Last beta that I use was 10.14 (18A389).

Bluetooth broken post 10.14.1 upgrade.

- Can not add devices
- Can not disable the bluetooth device

Have reset the SMC and Bluetooth Module with (Shift-Option, Click) and they dont fix it.

This is more of a notification of the only problem I am having post-upgrade, was fine beforehand.

Delete bluetooth preference in system library and restart pc to see if it fixes it.

Is there a list with all the new things in the update? The details provided in the update is quite minimal.

The macOS updates also include recovery image updates, system security updates, EFI updates, program updates, and a slew of other **** that Apple doesn’t disclose in the release notes. It’s not like 10.14.1 just updates the FaceTime app and adds emojis. They are always much more than the consumer level features.
[doublepost=1540928004][/doublepost]I'm signed up the Apple Security Announcements mailing list, and one just came across referencing iTunes 12.9.1, however I'm not seeing any update for iTunes on my end (Mojave 10.14.1). Also other outlets are saying HomePod 12.1 is out but it's not showing up either... Apple's CDN providers must be dragging ass today.

EDIT - it seems iTunes 12.9.1 is for Windows only. macOS version remains at 12.9.0.164.

That's the kind of information I'm asking for! Where did you find it?

installed on my MacBook Pro 15 inch 2018 with broken DisplayLink off course.

This upgrade OSX 10.14.1 and Displaylink version 5.0.1 is still having the same issues (black screen with mouse pointer on DisplayLink connected screens.)

can someone confirm?

This Displaylink saga is really totally unbelievable!

And hopefully the crashes after sleep will be solved!

Sign up for this: https://lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/security-announce/

You will get e-mails usually a couple hours after Apple releases any update, and it details the security and system changes made with the updates. Some of them can be quite long and ambiguous (Quite a few of "A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved validation.), but it gives you an idea of just how much of the system gets updated with these "small" X.X.1 updates.

Also I usually compare apps I use a lot (such as Safari) before and after an update is installed, to see if they updated it. Safari did receive an update to 12.0.1 with macOS 10.14.1. No doubt security updates as performance feels the same (no snappy).

10.14.1 contains Boot ROM EFI firmware updates, even for older Macs such as my test 15" MBP mid-2012 which is nice (updated from MBP91.00DA.B00 to 222.0.0.0.0 - Apple appear to have switched from hex to decimal for version numbers).

It also fixes the "glitchy" black boot screens when FileVault is enabled.

Update not showing up on my 2016 MacBook Pro nTB running version 10.14
What is the build number of 10.14 that you're running? If it's not 18A391, you'll need to download the full 10.14.1 installer from the App Store and install that.

The delta does not work when you get to the part to pick the drive it says it's not compilable and can't be installed.

It says it needs to be an APFS formatted drive. I clean installed Mojave on this mini a few weeks ago. If it's not APFS that's not my fault. Maybe they will get it straightened out tomorrow.

tywebb13,

Do you have links yet for the Safari 12.1 updates for Sierra and High Sierra?

Also, will there be an iTunes 12.9 update for those two OS versions?

Software Update doesn't think I need it. Delta update won't install on a non-APFS drive. Full install from the App Store wouldn't pass verification. I think they are having some trouble. Too many things going on in one day.

iOS update went fine.
