I was wondering why I wasn't getting this update. It turns out I had the beta of 10.14 and I had to download and install the official one from the App Store. A bit frustrating.

So... a couple of happy days have passed after 10.14.1 launched. Happy especially, because it appeared Apple had fixed the battery drain during sleep bug. It was good for three days (or actually nights), fully charged battery went down some 1-2% over 15-16 hours of sleep. Just like it was before Mojave.

Well, it appears they have fixed jack ***. Opened up my MBP today to find it again with a battery down at ~67% after putting it to sleep last night fully charged.

So IF they even tried to fix something regarding the battery drain, they didn't manage to fix it completely. Not that shutting down a Mac takes ages, but it is seriously annoying that they have managed to ruin a reliable experience that has worked years and years...

Click the Apple up top left then in System Prefs click software update.
Nope, click the apple logo for About this mac window, in overview, click button for Software Update. New in Mojave, no longer in the App Store.

My MBP still says "Up to date" with 10.14... No update here yet. (Seattle area)
No longer in the app store, in about this mac window, button for software update.

Updates fixes battery drain during sleep. For 12 hours sleep, down from 100% to 99%.

Fantastic!

Must the new MacOS 10.14.1 ; have the new APFS-partition to work? And is there a risk to partition an older partition with macOS direct to APFS?

Apple today released macOS Mojave 10.14.1, the first major update to the macOS Mojave operating system available on Apple's Mac lineup. macOS Mojave 10.14.1 comes a little over a month after the release of the macOS Mojave update.

macOS Mojave 10.14.1 can be downloaded by going to the "Software Update" section of System Preferences, a new installation method that was introduced with the Mojave update.

The 10.14.1 update introduces support for Group FaceTime, a feature that was removed during the beta testing period. Group FaceTime, which lets you chat with up to 32 people at once, is also available in iOS 12.1.

macOS Mojave 10.14.1 brings more than 70 new emoji characters that are also available in iOS 12.1 and watchOS 5.1. There are new options for red hair, curly hair, no hair, and gray hair, along with characters to represent superheroes, cold face, party face, pleading face, and face with hearts.

There are a number of new animals and food items like kangaroo, parrot, lobster, mango, lettuce, and cupcake. Tweaks have been made to some existing emoji as well. The iPhone emoji, for example, has been updated to look like the iPhone X with no bezels or Home button.

[doublepost=1541482008][/doublepost]How about Apple spend some time fixing some significant, basic design flaws in the product:
1. You are currently unable to move the call status window, while making a voice call, in FaceTime.
2. When initiating a FaceTime call, using Siri, FaceTime will always default to making the call using FaceTime, as opposed to using your iPhone, even if the number is clearly not a mobile, so has exactly zero chance of ever working!

How many calls does the average person make, per day, to multiple people, all of whom will be contacted via an Apple device? Now, how many people use their computer to initiate calls to people on land lines and non-Apple mobiles? Seriously makes you wonder where Apple's focus is, these days? The next big whooping opportunity for a dev con or making everyday life tasks simpler and more productive, for its users?

It's these, seemingly small things, that would make real differences, not multi-FaceTime calls that rarely happen!

I found the issues is back. It discharge about 20% overnight. Last night, I applied hibernatemode 25, and the battery has return to 1% in 12 hours. Understand, that this is not the real solution, but at least it saves my battery during traveling.

Fantastic!

When I updated to ver 10.14.1 (18B75) my system stopped recognizing my second monitor. Anyone having the same issue? I have a Dell monitor as my secondary monitor.

After this update, when my MBP wakes from sleeps, the login screen is shifted up about 20%. The bottom fifth or so of the screen is just black. Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
