It's been saying 20-25 minutes for at least 15-20 minutes.

iPad updated. Waiting for install on 12 Pro Max as it failed the first time I tried.

AW6 next, once the phone gets finished.

Paired homepod support as default output as well right?
If you mean; click on the speaker icon in the menu bar and select whatever you named the pair from the drop down and they play in stereo as you would expect, then yes, it is supported.

The Apple Music app also includes a new autoplay option that allows the streaming service to continue to play music after a playlist or music queue ends.

With this feature enabled, Apple Music audio will not end even after a playlist or album is over. To check that it's on, play a playlist or album and then click on the three dot/line menu button in the upper right hand corner. From there, make sure the infinity symbol is toggled on.
I'm curious about how this works, as in how/what does it determine what to play once the playlist/album is done. Does it just repeat it from the beginning, choose a similar album by the same artist, find the same kind of genre of music?

still waiting fo it show up

Bruh, HOW?! I haven’t been able to make it past 2 weeks of uptime without my system turning into laggy, glitchy mush for the past few years! I am running on an Intel machine though, just to be clear.

That could be it. Big Sur wasn't that great on my i5 2020 Air. Catalina much smooth.

M1 BS is smooth as a polished apple. well, 11.2.1.

11.1 the BT disconnects were irritating.

could someone tell me the benefit of downloading the full installer from the appstore? i am now just downloading the update from the "software update" tab in my settings

Man my MAC is taking a loNo time to update, saads preparing for a very very long time. (Even though it said 15 min lol)

iOS 14 is out, yes.

Dear lord the cult is in full force and out for blood. Again, I'm asking questions not drawing conclusions about 11.3.

Are questions offensive now? And is it good to get responses from people who have no experience with the build in question, when that is the requisite part of the question?

Suppose so.
Are you aware 11.2.3 is the previous version?

Always nice to have a USB installer in case of issues down the road. Much easier and faster to recover and don't need an Internet connection.

Anybody been having any display issues?

Sorry but you have to be specific. Which Mac device are you talking about, are you talking about external display.

The only reason I would like to update this is because of this release note. It is supposed to fix issues with my 4k external monitor.

"External 4K monitors may not display in full resolution when connected over USB-C"

I am, did I suggest the progression was 11.2.1 -> 11.3? That is my progression as that is the build my device is on.

I generally don't make minor point leaps when it's smooth sailing as a general practice. Made the exception from 11.2 to 11.2.1 because of sudo bug fix specifically - that was a biggy for me. Additionally, makes it tough to monitor kernel_task read write metrics or general long term stability when I reboot or when I update builds that forces a reboot - but still remains true that I tread carefully with my main machine as general practice even without that.

We're talking about software builds for devices we all enjoy, and I am asking basic questions about one's experience of said build and encouraging, not stifling, discussion - relevant discussion at least. I still haven't received a single relevant response and there's something impressive to be said about that. I've accepted the real possibility 11.3 is Fantastic, it wouldn't be beyond the pale, but I am asking for empirical responses (specific to M1 machines, and specifically MBA) not angry knee jerk reactions to absolutely nothing. And I am cautious to update specifically because my experience has been great. That's my right to do so despite you strong-arming me to hit the update button without question, rinse and repeat. If things were broken as hell, I'd roll the dice without question as I did with 11.1.

I am using an M1 mac with a USB-C / Thunderbolt monitor - Using the monitor as a hub for speakers, mouse + keyboard

It doesn't allow for the Mac's media keys to control the volume. There was a macrumors article on this but the software fix does not work on the latest version of Big Sur + M1.

I wonder if this 11.3 update fixes it.

Anyone else have that bug with using display port audio via USB -C ?
