I'm getting an error of "You do not have permission to open the application "..."." I don't think it's affecting all of my previously sideloaded applications but it's most of them.

For example, my sideloaded copy of Ace Attorney is still working and was sideloaded (ie. it's not available from the app store on MacOS).

Sigh. The disadvantages of the wall garden ... :(

Will have to try this out later today. Was not happy to find that I was only getting 3840x2160 (16:9) when I connected my LG 31MU97 to my M1 Air. It should be 4096x2160 (17:9). Had to resort to Switchresx.

I am sadly noticing a blurriness in Safari’s web content. :(

Why do I have a "Relocated Items" folder on my desktop now? 5 layers down it has a group_system_default file?
I have it as well. Apparently, Apple added this line to the system default:
Code:
_trustd:*:282:_trustd

For some reason, they chose not to overwrite the current file /etc/group but instead left it and placed the default version under “Relocated Items”. There is a PDF file there that recommends comparing both files and merging the changes.

I have not seen something like this before, normally Apple would just overwrite the file and keep the old file next to it (with “~previous” appended to to the file name), or put the original file there as well (appended with “~orig”). Unusual for Apple IMO to let the user do this themselves.

This update has caused my 16" MacBook Pro to constantly reboot. Progress bar goes to ¾, then goes back to Apple logo and starts over.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to make sure before I used Configurator 2 on my M1 to do a clean install.
Urm... You know that M1 uses IPSW as install image and not the regular .app bundles Intel machines use? I haven't checked for that. But I'm sure they offer both.

I just updated to 11.3 on my 2019 16" Macbook Pro Intel and the new Applecare info shows up under a "Service" tab, not Support as the Macrumors screen shows. The Service tab is at the far right end of the row where the Resource tab used to be but has now been replaced by Service. See my screenshot below:

Upgraded on my MacBooks here... And it seems like, nothing has been fixed:

- still not able to reinstall or update 11.3 on my MacBook Pro 13" 2018
- M1 external Display is still gone, also rebooting does not help here
- weather link is broken
- Bluetooth stuck also like before

Thanks Apple for not fixing the important bugs!
