I installed (updated to) 11.3 this morning and so far everything has been working as expected. Bonus: got updated AMD video drivers.

Anyone else get a relocated items folder on their desktop after updating? Never got this before, only file that's in the folder is "group.system_default"...what should I do with it?

I did after I did a regular update. I did a clean update afterward.

You should be able to delete that folder.

So, if someone also can't stand font smoothing, here is how you can disable it on newer Safari versions:

1. Download any app, that allows injecting custom styles for web pages (I'm using Cascadea).
2. Creat a CSS style that applies to all webpages with following:

html {
    -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
}

3. You're good to go.

Why would you need an app for that when Safari has supported custom style sheets natively since forever?

Yes. Any wireless speaker is useless as a computer speaker. That's nothing new.

Really? I will be testing Creative Pebble V3 with BT5.0. I will post here if there’s any lag from macOS 11.3 to the Pebble V3 via Bluetooth.

Yeah for me too, dare I say snappier? Seriously tho, my Intel Air had a smoother Safari, much better in 11.3

Really? I will be testing Creative Pebble V3 with BT5.0. I will post here if there’s any lag from macOS 11.3 to the Pebble V4 via Bluetooth.

The Pebbles have USB cables for computer connectivity for a reason. Bluetooth is for device audio playback only.

For those wondering about sideloading, using iMazing or apple config 2 don't work any more, but you are able to use AppDB's rickpactor to install iOS apps on your M1. Extract the .IPA from your iOS device using apple config 2 or iMazing, upload it, and install it via rickpactor. You can upload custom .IPAs (you may have got them from a website or the ipas you extracted from your iOS device), or use the ones from AppDB's website.

here's how to do it. Works great in 11.3 despite this being an older video, the publisher also published a video demonstrating using it in 11.3. I just linked the older one cause it showed how to install custom .IPAs imported from iMazing or other places.

I managed my iphone, but it was early morning Australia time when i did it, now it is business hours and everyone is likely doing it at work

11.3 finally fixed the bug introduced all the way back in 11.1 that broke proper resolution/refresh detection for my Dell S3220DGF (1440p@165hz) with my MBP 16. Took long enough.

Also, Safari Bookmark Menu still getting the spinning beach ball when I click on the Bookmarks menu. Guess Apple just doesn't give a damn.

If you are using Thunderbolt Bridge - DO NOT UPGRADE TO 11.3!

Thunderbolt Bridge is completely screwed up in 11.3, and only fixed in 11.4 Beta.

I had a similar issue with my M1 16 GB MBA. I was unable to open apps after the update installed. After 3 restarts, the computer started working normally again...
