If anybody decides to put this together, it might need to offer some decision making guidance based on risk and benefit... Answer 'why' some people opt for clean install vs 'upgrade'.

The delay is so that app developers can now start getting their stuff together for all the apps that aren't going to work right.

If affordability is not an issue, you may look into an upgrade. I hear the M1 chip is a stonker, it may help make decisions faster. Coupled with machine learning and Neural Engine, she'd know what to wear before you know where you're taking her.
