I think it must still be syncing to the CDNs. it was stuck at 567 meg for ages, then jumped to 1.15 in about 10 seconds, now stuck again

silly thing is, it goes full throttle for a few seconds and then it pauses for ages. very weird they way this is working.

Still on Mojave, Catalina was the first OS I skipped, mainly because of all the out of character complaints.
