After receiving the error after hitting 1GB, I tried starting over again. It stalled out at 220.2MB. So, I restarted my MBP, and tried again from scratch. And yet again, it has stalled at 220.2 MB, giving me a 2-day estimate to complete. Seriously, Apple needs to do something with their servers.
Yes, fill them with M1 machines 😁
But maybe that’s what is going to happen? More speed, less power ...
