Apple Releases macOS High Sierra Golden Master Candidate to Developers and Public Beta Testers

How can you tell which versions you are downloading. I downloaded the beta yesterday and the GM is out today - how do I tell the version I am now downloading?

So where do you find that I am a public beta user and that is not showing up on the public page - perhaps it is not out yet for public beta?
 
For those of you using Path Finder, apparently it doesn't work properly on 10.13 High Sierra yet. That's what's keeping me from upgrading..

There will be no substantive changes between your build and this one. The rate of change dwindled to a few bugs fixed per day weeks ago.

It looks like I am running 17A360a - so no beta yet. I cannot tell what the version is of the one I am downloading and is it an upgrade to the GM candidate or a new install - this download is 5GB

Current beta broke iMessage from MacBook Ugh
 
Just started the download. The App Store is sometimes completely messed up on Beta 9 and sometimes looks normal and again I have to use the full installer because nothing showed up in updates like several betas before and I have to download the full installer.

New App Store coming? :)

Sorry if already mentioned, installing is more important than reading before. ;)

Apple I think always does a GM Candidate for Mac because we always have to download the final installer no matter what. I remember it every year now. The GM Candidate just allows it so we can submit our apps as Dev without getting the whole you are running a beta, please use the latest release to build your apps message in iTunes Connect. I can't remember there ever being a straight GM for the last 3 years atleast. And last year there were 2 different GM candidates and the build number was one digit more on the 2nd version.

Love the Mac, so I’m looking forward to the public release. I’ll wait until then.

The problem is the macrumors post says its available via the App Store, which is clearly isnt.

Mac App Store is just a web wrapper. From the looks of it, data from CDN server (where static files like CSS stylesheets and images are stored) was overloaded or timed out.
 
Is this the right version?

As a public tester, I can't access the macos developer beta access utility. And no updates are available in the App Store.

To do a FRESH install, do you have to go back to the Beta Software Program and get the macOS Beta link, would that be the last GM? Or is it still the build before that?

Yup. Just enroll again to download and reinstall beta access utility.

Yes as the Previous installer was created August 30th Version 13.0.60
