12.3 Has just vanished? It was there as an update 10 mins ago, I just went to update now and it says update no longer available? Now just shows 12.2.1..? Was there a problem with it?
Also happening to me. 12.3 showed up two days ago, the download froze, I cancelled it to try again... But as of now, it's gone.

It got pulled due to bricking
??? It still shows up as an update on my 2015 MBP with 12.2.1. Did it get “pulled” for specific models, or is it likely to fail if I try to update?

Also, has the Dropbox problem been resolved?

Don't know, no one uses dropbox anymore

Updated both MacBook Pro M1 and iPad Pro. Universal control does seem to work well for me, had to first enable it on the Mac though.

Maybe its just me, but I'm a little disappointed and feel it is a sign of the times at Apple that Universal Control is now officially released into the wild but is still in Beta. This is not the way to develop software IMHO. Mac OS is already riddled with bugs, this only goes to further show everyone that Apple doesn't really care about the quality of the software they are pushing out right now.
I think it shows that Apple realizes that they can get a much larger group of beta testers with the general public, than they can with the much smaller Developer forum and Public beta testers.

I don't think the vast majority of people on the forum realize the the OS code involves millions upon millions of lines of code. Finding a small segment of a line of code that may be causing a problem is not easy to do, especially when people contact Apple and say it isn't working right etc. It's not a matter of Apple being sloppy. It is more so a matter of Apple offering more and more complex, integrated features that can make it very time consuming if not impossible at times to find and correct the errant / conflicting code that was not seen or noted in house, due to a much smaller test group.

Like it or not, the OS would still have a lot of bugs in it even if Apple lengthened the release cycle to every 2 years.

Didn't know this was such a common occurrence. What were the circumstances that you needed your mobo replaced?
Due to incredibly poor engineering, when my spacebar key on my MBP broke off, Apple had to replace the entire top board (which included the logic board). It cost Apple a ton of money to replace a spacebar key. I suspect that many/most of the folks who have had their logic boards replaced were because of similar issues.

Monterey completely SCREWS people with 5000 and 6000 series GPUs, halving their performance, both in benchmarks and real world usage (games, blender, etc).

This NEEDS to be made a huge headline on MacRumors, Apple's really dropped the ball on this. Anyone whos got a dGPU should avoid 12.3 like the plague.

This kind of stuff really rattles my cage. I have a 5000-series dGPU and it's one of the reasons I purchased the 16-inch over the 13-inch (prior to the release of Apple Silicon, when CPU + dGPU were the ruling class among Macs).

So far on macOS 12.3 my AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 2019 16" i9 is not having any performance issues. I ran benchmarks that didn't change at all compared to macOS 12.2.1 (for me). Also, I have been playing games and have run into no issues with performance as of yet.

Well, I updated over the weekend from 12.2 in the recent Intel 27" iMac. Upon re-start I got the dreaded "A problem has occurred with your iMac". Re-installed the OS twice to no avail. Eventually had to wipe the HD and install a fresh OS. Luckily I have everything backed up so I didn't lose anything but time. First time that has happened since doing installs since 1988. Still trying to get my stickies and Music playlist back....
