Thank you. Same as RCBuild number: 21E230
Very interested to find out about the Blender GPU rendering too. Please report back!Downloading now (4.88GB)! This update enables AMD GPU rendering in Blender – can't wait to see how it performs with my W6800X Duo!
Here's hoping. I might uninstall it and reinstall it to see if that gives me the Apple Silicon version.Idk for sure. But my standalone version was on the right version but was still Intel. So I just grabbed the native M1 version of the same build number. It should auto update to the newer apple silicon build next time
Yeah. Should be much better than the Intel versionHere's hoping. I might uninstall it and reinstall it to see if that gives me the Apple Silicon version.
Only reason I’m installing these updates. How excited are you all for the new beans emoji?
showed up quickly for my mini, still not showing up for my air
Problem is 12.3 halves metal performance on the 6900xt.12.3 adds Metal support for AMD GPU in Blender. Time to finish the hackintosh with 6900xt.

Let us know how it goes!Well, 12.3 - I guess it is time to leave Big Sur behind.
Hopefully this is enough releases to have all the bugs squashed…
When running GeekBench the metal score drops from around 195k on 12.2 to 90k on 12.3.Why? Half the performance compared to Blender on Windows with AMD HIP vs Metal or because Apple intentionally gimped it?
How? Did you run a geekbench test? What's your score?Problem is 12.3 halves metal performance on the 6900xt.
